new order - temptation (82)

lyrics dont really mean THAT much considering its early bernard sumner we're talking about but theyre weirdly emotive and something about the pure energy of the song and the really gritty production always makes it feel like the whole song is only a second away from falling apart, used to make me cry almost everytime i listened to it

I've cried to both of these no doubt. For LCD the songs that always get me are All My Friends and Someone Great, meanwhile for New Order I think the ones that affect me most often are Run and Leave Me Alone.

I know Rush is not a band most people would think of as making something worth crying to, but Losing It for some reason really hits me.

Chihei Hatakeyama - Ferrum

I don't know why, but this song in special can make me recall some of the darkest moments in my life, it's frightening to me.

Race for the Prize, that fucking sound in the chorus pulls on me every time

The Smiths - I Know It's Over
shit hit me hard after a break up, everything just made so much sense

god the part where wayne's voice cracks a little as he goes "they're just humans with wiiives and chiiillldreeen" and then the big ass john bonham sounding drums kick in, HOO WEE that gets me dude

Neutral Milk Hotel - King of Carrot Flowers Part I
Neutral Milk Hotel - In the Aeroplane over the Sea
Never actually finished the album for that reason.

I don't cry but if I did it'd be to this

I've never cried to it but I've also got a similar feeling from temptation. Like it's so beautiful that it's fragile.

My best friend in high school showed me this song two weeks before he died of a drug overdose. I was with him when it happened; I watched him die. If I called an ambulance sooner he might have lived.

Makes me tear up at the very minimum, no matter how many times I hear it.
