Couple years ago some user made a thread about 90's female artists with a pic of PJ Harvey, Bjork, and Tori Amos hugging or something. Found several female artists in that thread that are now favorites, including those 3.
Also first found Kate Bush on mu many years ago and she's probs my favorite (male or female)at this point.

Some guy recced this as a more experimental Radiohead. Outside of the vocalist kind of sounding like Thom in a couple spots, they really don't have any similarities, but it's still a fantastic album. I just wish Desert Storm was on it though, it's as good as the rest of it.

Gotta disagree. The album has aged really badly and feels almost embarrassing to listen to. It's definitely of it's time and I understand why people originally liked it. Listening to it now feels like you need the nostalgia to be able to fully enjoy it.
