The point of this thread is to help improve the metal charts we created for the Metal Roll Chart.
As you can see, over half the chart in its current state is Doom. We plan on completely reworking it.
There are going to be 10 different genres this time covering most of the metal genres.
They are:
>Death/Doom (Some Funeral Doom was added)
>Grind (Basically all sub genres are covered)
>Viking/Folk (Hammerheart ftw)
>Power (I personally don't like it, but some people do)
>Sludge (I never got into it yet. Seems like a good genre.)
>Heavy Metal (Not bad)
>Black (We got First Wave, War Metal, Second Wave, etc. included.)
>Death (Mostly OSDM)
>Thrash (I'm not too sure what to say about this. Pretty good)
>Brutal/Technical Death Metal (Looks marvelous. I love snare drums now because of it)
Only one album per band is allowed.
Basically, we have around 1000 different bands on it. (There are a few exceptions to this. Bathory and Carcass were pioneers in a couple different genres so they were included more than once.)
What other metal genres would you replace for one of these? Let us know.
Please help us make the chart look as best as it can. Feel free to keep Rolling in order to bump the thread.

At least some of the albums made it on the Black Metal chart as well as the Thrash chart. Not all hope is lost.

Until we stop having fun or if it becomes boring. I don't want this to turn into a chore.
Their two best albums are The Spectre Within and Awaken the Guardian, which would fit under either power metal or heavy metal (since you've included other USPM bands in the heavy metal chart).
Eh I don't like their prog albums as much as their first 4 albums, but Spectre through to No Exit are all classics.
If we start getting bored, we can stop with the recs and proceed to finish the Roll Chart.
