it's fine. looking forward to see how they progress.

this got memory holed faster than YWGWYW lmao

boring

Hilarious how blatant the paid shills were.

Honestly if it weren't for the vocals I would LOVE this. I think it'll grow on me a lot, still only listened twice

Still my AOTY. Love it.

Weak

ya it’s shit

It’s great and I can’t wait to see what they come up with next

I liked it until fantano gave it an 8 and the rest of Yea Forums started shitting on it desu

so is it fair to say that people on Yea Forums who say that people change their opinion based off of fantano's are just projecting?

absolutely based yes

Near DT, MI is the best on the album

Without a doubt. bmbmbm is pretty good too

PUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURPOSE

There's literally a thread about YWGWYW right now you tard
That's not Years Ago

It's Daughters 2.0 - "experimental" rock praised as innovative by people who didn't realize better bands were doing better versions of this decades ago

Absolutely true

Nobody cares. Yes they were inspired by This Heat. Yes they were inspired by Slint. Yes they were probably inspired by Polvo. Anyone who's been listening to music for more than two seconds can see that. It doesn't change the fact that there are some great tracks on this album. The fact that they're even being compared to This Heat at their age should attest to their talent.

FWIW I do like the album. I just hate when these albums get praised as being something experimental and unique and boundary-pushing when they're not. If I saw more posts like "This is an amazing album for people who like Polvo and This Heat and want a modern re-interpretation" I wouldn't mind, but it's rarely that, it's "OMG GUITAR MUSIC IS INNOVATIVE AGAIN" "THESE GUYS ARE SO CREATIVE AND UNIQUE"
