i don't recognize any albums that have been posted here except montage of heck and like clockwork and that's because i posted those two
This album and Preoccupations' Viet Cong are tremendously underrated.
I barely see any people talking about them in this board.
Seconding Public Strain by Women, great album.
absolutely this
>not knowing Joanna Newsom
Do you even music?
Thank you for the link
I guess I will be doing this thread for a while until the end of the year, each album if an album is recommended multiple times it gains his right for the final list

Blank Banshee 0

fetch - melt banana
youtube.com
i basically exclusively listen to various genres of rock music (stuff from basically all eras of rock), old blues music, old folk music, and sometimes even some classic pop sort of shit like Frank Sinatra
i am planning to check out the Daughters that i saw posted here because they seem like something i might like
Do we really have 5 months left?.....fuck......
yeah that freaked me out too when i saw that
Yes not enough for me at least
I know Yea Forums has a hate boner for CSH but ToD is definitely on the list, right?
youtube.com
Grouper A.I.A.
Definitely Quishel - feed me, seymour
kinda has to be this
The obvious answer.
Twin Fantasy
Richard Dawson - Peasant
Seconding these, but I’d like to point out that both Public Strain and Viet Cong’s s/t get discussed pretty regularly.
Melt Yourself Down - Melt Yourself Down
Definitely carseatheadrest.bandcamp.com
grouper.bandcamp.com
James Blake - S/T
The album that makes me sad not enough people talk about it
Murmuüre - s/t
Why nobody posted MBDTF yet? wtf is wrong with you guys?

We Must Become the Pitiless Censors of Ourselves
by John Maus
>We Must Become the Pitiless Censors of Ourselves
youtube.com
2000-2010 were so musically intense for me, lot of new interesting music being made and finally the mean to access to the entire history of recorded music online... feel the last decade was "lesser" in excitement and innovation... the big statement was vaporwave and "deconstructed club pop" was then too... but that one was like drill nbass i guess. the retro house trip was... was it still fun? it's all a blur, i guess so but a bit less than in the 00s
It just that this decade didn't had a centralized theme like the other ones, it was all over the place, while 2000's where for discovering, I would define this one as a process of settling between all this different platforms of music, genres, etc.
Damn the 2010s sound like that?! I love music now
The main theme of 2010s music is clearly le Internet technology is everywhere Come on dude
How has this not been posted yet
Seconding Peripheral Vision
That what I said, all over the place and a process of settiling between all the chaos
youtube.com
make it a 10x10 not a top 100

What is the name of this album? I tried to reverse image but I just found eyelashes replacements

35 Places to go!
objectively
My Bloody Valentine — mbv
was kind of a big thing.
even if kind of corny right now i prefer some tracks from sky fereira over anything on daft punks Random Access Memories. dj rashad rose and died in the 10s rip, i was paying attention to him and was wondering what he would come up with next . tim hecker was a mainstay in my musical life in the 10s. refreshing my memory checking out critics lists i remember there was lot of clever stuff in electronics like arca, jlin, lotic ,babyfather but i dont remember much of any of that, lol; like, every year there was a break out new dude that was bring it but then couple years later i don't remember basically shit about any of it. pharmakon was still out there doing their thing. lot of good techno house like omar s and wow my memory really is shot.

i think the 20s will be more of the same of whatever was going on in the 10s... should find a way to automate my harvesting of new music and stop investing my attention to that task, keeps the fire of passion going but the flames are not really big. should farm instead of hunt.
Also, ban K-Pop General
Mob Psycho 100
Madoka
Jojo
Attack On Titan
