Every album is fresh take but recognizably them. They've been 22 years on this already. Never gets boring. Hexed is a very fun album.

In my opinion Dark Tranquility suffers from Iron Maiden disease aka all albums past certain point sound the same while Bodom does not. I'm listening to Hexed now and there is almost nothing common with Relentless Reckless Forever except that certain something that makes them them.

Different. I've felt the same way about every Bodom album since Follow the Reaper that they are doing something wrong but it always grows on me. I want good melodeath? Hatebreeder. I want good aggressive thrashy jumpshit? Are you dead yet. And so on. That's why they have no decline in quality and I can always just resume listening to them after getting disappointed with abilities of others.
