Silver is the ultimate pleb filter, the worst track is clearly La La Love You but it's still good.

I wouldn't say bad, but Gouge Away is kind of insignificant.

surfer rosa is actually the pleb filter and all of doolittle is entry-level

Literally the best song on the album you filthy plebian.

Crackity Jones, on the other hand, is completely unnecessary.

why Yea Forums

this is the only music record ive ever put on that impressed a 20 yo enough on a first date to change her mind and we ended up fucking. and this was in 2009. i still havent figured out why. she must have been a big fan.

contrarian cringe
incorrect
absolute tourist
every word of this post is true
also true, not a bad song but unimpressive in comparison with the rest of the album, probably meant to be just a solid and compact ending, but its influence transcended because of grunge scene
Crackity Jones is good user, and a recognisable pixies track, in line with many of the previous albums sound defining tracks, but i respect your opinion. I value it a lot tho.

Wrong
Has she heard it already or was it her first time?

Absolute filth of an opinion. It is a masterpiece of rock music. I’d say Silver, and Silver still is great.
This is album is rock distilled to its greatest. The triptych of rock music, that ended the genre is this, Loveless (the greatest abstraction of rock) and Wowee Zowee by Pavement (the greatest summary of rock music as a genre)

first time. it was like a miracle. she knew of the bands music. just never heard the album before.

sameposter. yes proof some women will rate on your physical music collection

Just admit that side A is a 10/10 but side B is a complete dissapointment

I like the faster TGMG on the Doolittle25 b-sides disc better than the one on the album a lot better

There’s also a solo Kim version of Silver that exists (I guess it was a demo for Pod?) that I thought wasn’t bad, always thought that song was underrated though I would probably agree it seems a bit outta place on Doolittle.

Woulda replaced LaLa Love
You with Manta Ray and Silver with Into the White.

its def 10/10
