you're gonna wanna go through classic 80s hardcore. because their production was usually shit, it sounds """less heavy"""" than newer bands. Government Issue's Joyride, also Black Flag's Damaged (it's less weird than My War, at the end of the day). If you're hesitant about redeploying Black Flag then fuck it Dead Kennedy's Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables is also pretty good for beginners.
you're gonna want to make your way to Minor Threat (and also DK's Plastic Surgery Disasters, which is a bit heavier) and from there she'll probably start digging the aggression and she'll figure the rest out on her own.

I bet she’ll love Hüsker Dü also Brainiac maybe?

My number 1 favorite band is Dead Kennedys but Biafra's vocals might be too "weird" for her

X The Damned Mission of Burma MDC The Vandals If you really want to fill in the blanks the No Thanks box along with 1234 box. There's some overlap on those but each are missing quite a bit but hit the early years quite well.

dead kennedy’s and misfits for sure. ez punk intros
Solid recommendation. Out of curiosity I just listened to Over the Edge (song) and loved it. They remind me of Nirvana for some reason.

>They remind me of Nirvana for some reason. you weren't already aware of this cover? youtube.com/watch?v=fcXoRlvpLVY Kurt also had all of the first three Wipers albums in his top 50 list
Pretty much all of the Seattle scene ripped off Wipers to some extent. They were probably the most popular punk band from the Northwest alongside Poison Idea during the 80s. Greg Sage is a genius. His solo stuff is worth checking out too. Its less punk and more countryish garage rock.
