Listened to 75 and Little Strings, not huge into sadcore/bleak alt rock but I really liked the latter track. More of a personal nitpick but I don't like the aesthetic because most of the girls on the covers of these tracks remind me too much of art hoes I know in real life and I seriously thought one of them started an account here before the vocals came on.
The electric on this track sounds like it was ripped straight out of a 60's psych rock act (it sounds really familiar but I can't figure out potential influences). Either way it's an ok demo, but I think it could become something bigger and better with time.
This sounds a lot like Eurythmics on crack which is good news for me since I really like them. Really want to see where this EP goes, followed.

I can tell! I’m 22 and just starting getting deep into sabbath so I feel like I’m behind everyone else, but they’re so good. I’m reading Ozzy’s autobiography and would definitely recommend it. It’s so fucking funny. I wish I could write music like them so I’m jealous. I can hear what tony’s doing on guitar, but it’s not my main instrument so I could never come close.

Checked out some of those demos. Theyre pretty rad and unique. You have a cool voice. Hopefully youre doing something a little more with the vox tho. Throw some reverb on them, especially for tracks like Dropout Journey and Technicians.

I honestly don't see anything wrong with the production, for the style i think it sounds perfect. To be honest i'm not much of an audio head, i just play the guitar and yell but my buddy did ours pretty much live track aside from the vocals he used a Scarlett something, don't remember the name. You should actually come up with your own ideas instead of just sampling other artist's Ideas.. The problem I have with 99% of "musicians" who sample other people's work is LONGG. The big thing is with these digital sound sampling devices, back in the day my sh!t was ANALOG bro, do you even know what analog means? Whatever, anyway these digital systems are, we are told, music mimics par excellence, able to render the whole orchestral panoply, plus all that grunts, or squeaks. The noun "sample" is, in our comodified culture,pre-fixed by the adjective free, FREE. as in STEALING. So now you're lying about being an artist and if one is to consider predicating this subject, perhaps some thinking aloud on what is not allowable auditory appropriation is to be heard.
Some of you, current and potential samplerists are confused, I KNOW you're confused, and it's about the extent to which you can legally borrow from the ingredients of other people's sonic manifestations. Is a musical property properly private, and when and how does one trespass upon it? Like myself, you may covet something similar to a particular chord played and recorded singularly well by the strings of the estimable Eastman Rochester Orchestra on a long-deleted Mercury Living Presence LP of Charles Ives' Symphony #3 and you're thinking "Oh no, welp here's another song down the DRAIN".

You basically need to just start from scratch and go back to the drawing board. What you're trying to spam just won't cut it in the industry, I'm telling you now, it's better than in 10 years and you're still spinning your tires. So here's my advice:
-first ... buy fl studio, its all you need at 1st
-second..,, make a kick/snare rythem
-3rd - invite some producers over to hang out and get them to help get a melody / bassline idea
-3rd get some studio time,
4th, get some experienced producers to work with you durring your session(s)
5th let them do whatever they want to the song to make it good.
6th DONE! you have a new song you can upload online and start blowing up.

I'm really passionate about making a spoken word project, but I have a fucking beta numale voice, plus a slight lisp. The project I want to make is supposed to be dark, atmospheric, and scary, with dark ambient, noise, industrial, post rock, etc. backing instrumentals.

Do you guys think if the story I tell is good, it would outweigh my voice, or should I just get someone else to do it for me? My hope is that I'd be forgiven for voicing my own project because of my intentions as an artist but I understand if a wimpy voice would be immersion breaking. I can't post an example of my voice currently because I have no microphone here, only at my studio, which is a drive away and I'm lazy.

Haven't posted in this thread, and he seems pretty obnoxious, but if he were to shit on my music I wouldn't take it with any heart, his music isn't really good for what it's going for and same for the image/atmosphere, so because of that it's easy to brush off, and so should everyone else. Criticisms are almost always good, even though his don't really pass as genuine criticisms. So I don't know why people just brush him off, just another guy commenting on music, get used to it if you want to make a bare minimum living off music.
