whimsical cute indie/techno pop is a formula that can always work , i guess. but they would have made more an impression on me in the late 90s. i just watched 3 music videos to refresh my meory of them and...idk, the music is not that cool , sorry kkb, but even 20 years ago you would not have been in my top bands in my heart

I went to a show of theirs. I was expecting nerdy hipster types standing around swaying gently to the music and ironically appreciating the post-modern dance pop music. Instead, it was attended by a coterie of drug-addled normies dancing to the music as if it was unironic dance pop and not ironic post-modern dance pop.
