Catch 22

>good
>ska

pick 1

You're thinking of Operation Ivy and literally zero other bands

Op Ivy, Streetlight, and ASOB are all good. Although I think Everything Goes Numb treads the line of being cheesy sometimes and would be a much better album if the horns weren't so overblown.

I ONCE KNEW A GUY OBSESSED WITH THE AFTERLIFE
OH WHAT A TERRIBLE DAY THAT WAS WHEN HE REALIZED HE WASTED ALL HIS TIME

SO YOU WERE BORN
AND THAT WAS A GOOD DAY
SOME DAY YOU'LL DIE
AND THAT IS A SHAAAAAAAAAAAAAME

Fucken this.

Does Bomb the Music Industry! count?

For me, it's Jeff Rosenstock. I don't think ska albums hold up much. Keasbey Knights is fucking amazing, though.

Whitmore

Pool party baby

How can you say they are better than any other ska band? EVERY SKA BAND SOUNDS EXACTLY THE SAME

This is the deepest piece of music I've ever listened to.

cringe

hurrrr
Streetlight is great. Sometimes I prefer Catch 22's sound though. Their demo tape is great.
Try out Catch 22 - Rules of The Game

op is the type of guy to split ska into subgenres for no reason whatsoever. Also no.

Personally also like RX bandits, pic related

literally the greatest album of all time

Apart from the brass, and Keasby Nights maybe, what's ska about Streetlight?

pretty much this
