sardines and ketchup in a black Hong Kong bun

just cheese and lettuce

Nah, just Ride

it's a surf 'n' turf burger

KYS

why does anyone even call him "MC ride"? where did he get that name? what does it mean?

MC means ‘microphone controller’
It’s effectively a hip hop term for a rapper
Idk where the ‘ride’ part comes from
Maybe he likes horses

i thought MC stood for "master of ceremonies." in any case i guess i'm more curious about the "ride" part. IIRC he's just stefan burnett on all of DG's liner notes

1 DOLLAR MENU
RED PASTE BURGER MEAT
LIVING WITHIN YOU
I SKEET IN WHAT YOU EAT
NO TISSUE

it stands for “mick” as in the Irish name. rap actually has Celtic roots dating back to the 11th century involving Baroque drumming techniques and metre which has a lot of social scientists and historians confused considering it emerged out of Jamaican tradition in the modern century.

cringe

Ride is just a cool name. I think his name was MC Ride when he was in Fyre before he was in Death Grips, so its probably not a super complex origin story.

the -media- gave him the MC title.
anyone who's in/has been in DG not once have referred to him as MC Ride

that's what i'm getting at. same goes with andy morin being called "flatlander." idk where people are getting these weird names from

flatlander was basically DGs codename in the very beginning
