The two loudest concerts I've been to have been actually very different type of "loud".
First was a Guns n Roses reunion concert in a huge venue with like 70k people that my normie friends dragged me to. The sound mixing was fucking AWFUL. The worst I've ever heard at such a big concert. It was literally like someone blasting thin and screeching rock music right into your ear canals.
The second one was a Algiers gig at a way smaller venue with around 100 people. They were agressive and loud but sounded amazingly good.
Pelican was loudest, honorable mentions to Wolf Eyes and Tomahawk.

yngwie malmsteen. I remember him telling the audio guys to keep turning the volume up because he couldn't hear himself. it was probably the worst show I've been to as well because of how loud it was. my ears hurt until the next day, I honestly thought i had tinnitus after I got out of there.
except the result is more unpredictable and affects your sense and daily life
