Your beats are a big generic and I recognize the Samples. the sample sounds like it was recorded to a 15ips tape machine with a live band going straight through a console, and the drums are coming from a drum machine, synth, or stock DAW drum samples, chances are the context won’t make sense, you should always focus on that crispy sound quality bro.
In my mind I’m thinking “ok, what can I do to make these drums sound better, like they BUMP to the sample, but still stick out and hit hard?” Bro... Think about it like this, it might mean you have to be processing to the sample, or processing to the drums, or both. And generally needssome experimentation to make it BOOM in the speaker. And also mmatching the space is super key. This isn’t easy, it takes a really ADVANCED ear like mine. But if you can train yourself to listen to the ambience in the sample and recreate that ambience around the drums, but don't get confused. You follow? Next turn up the EQ low end (bass) and ta-da you're better.

Just an FYI encase you didn't know, it's always a standard to use lossless file formats (such as Wav) when making or working with digital audio. IE if you were sending/using Mp3s or even Flac they would digitally compress and degrade in quality every time it was rendered or exported from a project. If that's the effect you want than that's one thing but you guys might end up unintentionally wrecking you mixes. Just a tip!

Very chill, liked the break @2:28. Before that point the instrumental felt a bit repetitive.
Ending suprised me, really well done.

Love the etheral beginning. The first beat seemed a bit off atmosphere wise, which isn't a bad thing I guess. Also didn't like the simplistic beat between 1:10-1:24.
Rest was trippy, liked the eerie, spacy feeling

Very cool song. In my opinion, for my personal taste, I think the production would benefit from a little bit less compression/limiting. Possibly add a little flair of compression to taste on individual instruments in the mix. Balance between that comp punch but keeping all the dynamics in check. As for the mastering/limiting id say watch your rms and peaks so you don't get that 'crush' sound. I'm using ISIS or something like GYBE as a base for my opinion. Its more layed back so i really want to hear each instruments texture and atmosphere. I think it would make your track much more enveloping.

Thanks for the feedback! Mixing on "The Grad Fall" is still very basic, that was something I just rushed through today. So yes, I agree, it's overly compressed and kind of bland. I plan to rework the composition quite a bit still, so I didn't put a lot of effort into it.
Would love to hear your quick opinion on the production of the second song though, if you've got the time.

This is obviously much more precise as far production goes. I think that the instruments sit really well together. Now this is only my opinion, and you may have a different vision for what you want your track to sound like; I can really think of two things that I'd like more out of this track:

1) the lead to maybe EQ'd a tad more or something like that so it doesn't wash into the
rhythms as much. I'd like to hear the rhythm/lead guitars working together more.

2) My brain wants to head a punchier kick. A bit of a sassy 'fwap' or something that makes it a bit more charismatic, if that makes any sense.

overall its a nice production, just getting nitpicky here and its just my opinion

I haven't listened to all of it but from what I have clicked on it's usually uninspired wubstep with "experimental" elements (often ugly and offputting). I guess the experiments just didnt fail as bad on this one
