Good album. Aged, but in a good way. A lot of interesting shit going on with the production and mixing on it, even now.

You can tell it is his first album, yet it is still amazing, as all of his albums are, only one of his albums I can call dated, maybe Broken a little bit too.
Still, it's amazing.

Very good for his starting point even if some songs are a little cheesy like Kinda I Want To or Down In It. Has some of his best songs to his day though like HLAH, Sanctified, SICNH, Sin and Ringfinger. Most of his later stuff was even better but this was still pretty great overall and if cringe lyrics stop you you are a soulless robot faggot, angsty lyrics didn't stop TDS from being a 10 outta 10 and one of the best albums of the 90s

I love Nine Inch Nails like this, when it isn't really following any complicated concept or is trying to send a big message, it's just Trent being raw about his feelings.
With_Teeth and Hesitation Marks are the same as this album and are also my favourite, they are angsty but have this playful feeling for them, they are awkward and cheesy in places, but I think that's perfect self-image. Makes it feel that much more real for me.
