Anyone plan to pick any of the Vintera series guitars up?

Aren't they more or less the budget classic line renamed and with the price jacked up? They don't even have a nitro finish like the last run of classic series fenders. At that price I would just save a bit more and buy a used American .

Thought about getting one of the teles but the baja pickups are so boring and the other variant also doesn't sound good. Too bad about the cool colors, some of the few good ones I've seen in the recent fender lineups.

anybody that's "learning" to play but isn't paying for lessons from an actual talented musician is a fool and deserves to fail.

I was going to, but I just bought 6 pounds of edamame instead

Those who can’t do teach.

But teachers try to teach you as slowly as possible to make more money from you. There are so many lessons on youtube that teachers are more or less pointless outside of Classical guitar or Jazz.

Anyone here do the Obsidianwire solderless wiring harness for any of your guitars? I'm thinking of doing it with my MiM tele for that 4 way switch mod.

Basic economics and human nature. You might get the rare good samaritan, but most teachers want to squeeze as many lessons as they can from you.

Mainly got it so I can swap Pickups quicker. That and my soldering isnt the best so I said fuck it and pulled the trigger.

Anyone got any idea what this instrument is? Is it a miniature twelve string guitar?

Thanks. What an odd instrument, I thought it was a mandolin when I heard it but those usually have eight strings.

That's pure speculation. "Basic Economics". Yeah, we got a real Thomas Sowell over here. Go fuck yourself. Stop projecting your shitty motivations onto other people.

Cool, thanks. I don’t really want one but if there’s a string instrument I don’t recognise I like to know what it is. I see a lot of weird and wonderful (often homemade) string instruments at my local folk club session.

For example a guy at my folk club made a mandocello out of an old Takamine guitar, I had a shot of it and it was a really nice instrument with a good tone.

do you guys hear the e string at the end of my D chord? it sounds extra "twingy" or something doesn't it? both my apps say its in tune, my middle finger is holding it just behind the fret, my other fingers aren't touching the strong. whats causing this?

Their mandolins are supposed to be excellent, I’d rather have one than my Breedlove anyway which leaves a bit to be desired.

thats me but then again i am a violinist.

you won't care about it unless you're playing with stupid high gain

That's not what I do, if I was doing that then I'd be teaching people songs they want to learn.
I don't teach people songs unless it can be used to demonstrate something we're learning, I arm them with the tools to make them self-sufficient so they could learn it without me. Youtube is full of these sorts of people who are teaching you a single song, but what are you actually learning?

With that said, if I foisted all the expectations I have for a successful musician upon my students whose ages range from very young to adults, I'd have maybe a 5% student retention rate. So we work through concepts at a rate that students can handle.

sounds deadened. might be an unlevel fret. my guess about the tuning is your intonation is off or you're pressing too hard.

Get a job.

Get a hard case for if you ever play live.

I have a job but I dislike spending money on guitars that are going to be near five (FIVE) cats.

So you can guess she's the kind of person who has a lot cats.

Nothing Else Matters if you want a challenge. Enter Sandman if you don't.

how do I tell if its an unlevel fret?

Have you ever had your body composition checked via displacement?

Its lower than the other frets

Which is fine, it's not like you can't learn anything, but more than likely they're not breaking down the rhythm and chords by showing you what it looks like on paper(probably would get DMCA'd), or working much with theory.
I work with my students to develop a process by which they could play music even if they've never heard it before, as long as they have it on paper.
My ultimate goal is to make self-sufficient, competent musicians, as counter-intuitive as it might sound from some Capitalistic standpoint in the short term to keep people spoonfed through , in the long term parents might share their love of music with their children through lessons.

Kill the cats and replace with guitars. How have you not done it already?

No but I'm guessing it's at least 2% catnip

Schecter C-1s are unironically great entry level and disposable/spare guitars for gigs. They're identical to the higher end LTDs, which are budget ESPs, basically.

Shitty QC on the cosmetics though and for a 3 piece maple neck they're only as stable as a quality one piece. However they offer good fretwork, stateside setups, and brand name hardware which is more than you can ask for when buying squier and MIM fender, guitars that are explicitly made to be cheaper and worse than MIA fender from head to toe (if buying MIM, buy used and put the money saved towards hardware off an MIA, especially the pickups).

If you started out with one, the next step up is an ESP.

Good man.

if you don't gig or record you do not need more than one good amp+cab, two guitars (hh, sss), and 3-5 pedals for your personal enjoyment, and two of those pedals should be a looper and a delay with tap tempo. you do not need a tuning pedal.

9/10 an absolute abomination, would love to play

Which anime is this from?

This is the most idiotic thing I've ever read. There are some really helpful lessons on YouTube for sure, but having a teacher is useful because they can point you in the right direction based on where you are and where you want to go with your playing. I'm largely self-taught and I'm pretty competent at everything from strumming open chords to transcribing Kurt Rosenwinkel lines but there are definitely times when I wished I had the means to seek out and learn from a good teacher, someone who could break down whatever I was into at the time and help me explore and apply it to my own playing. Figuring out things like modes, harmony, and ear training on my own was pretty frustrating, and even having someone slightly more advanced than myself going through those things with me would have been a massive help.

What are some good resources, books etc for learning how to shred arpeggios?

Yeah I was trying to treat it like a typical rc filter using different combinations of resistance based off the pickups and volume pot, but I just wasn’t getting any values I expected.

Good idea

Hi lads,
I own this guitar, the 2016 Gibson sg special t. It's cool but the mini humbuckers are too microphonic for my high gain OR15. Also no neck binding annoys me.

What guitar do you recommend for the same price as I can sell this one, for noise rock/jazz/math rock/alt metal/free improve noise (yes really)?

Thanks a lot lads

Attached: SGT-1.jpg (1600x900, 894K)

Why not use the microphonic feedback to your advantage if you’re in to noise?

That's what I do, but it also picks up a lot of electrical interference which I dislike

what an infuriatingly unhelpful answer.

I’ve been playing guitar for two years now, after seeing this post I thought I’d have a stab at Smells Like Teen Spirit. First time I have ever read the lyrics.

A mulatto? A mosquito? My libido? The lyrics are so fucking terrible, how the fuck did they get away with it?

Redpill me on 12-string acoustics.

>Mark V
Depends on the model, the full size one has a lot more low end than the lunchbox ones and gets a lot louder. It also has the rectifier tube that offers a different feel under the hands with the compression once you hit the power stage. The Mark series has a ton of versatility and the built in EQ lets you dial in just about anything and really balance the sounds you want. Its got good note clarity and can really do almost anything. Just don't expect a Marshall crunch sound, the gain is Mesa's is more compressed and dark.
>Triple Crown
Triple Crown to me is a hybrid of a Dual Rectifier/Mark amp and even Plexi territory in channel 2. Channel 1 has sort of Fender cleans but can also overdrive decently well. It's more 'British' sounding than any Mesa amp right now. Channel 3 is really a thicker Mark like distortion cause of the bigger power tubes, basically its like the smaller Mark amps but way fuller sounding. I own this amp and really like it a lot. Check out the Andy Timmon's demos, you can get it sounding really good at any volume since it has 2 master volumes. Some guys don't like it because the distortion isn't as 'modern' sounding as the Dual Rec but I personally think it sounds way nicer, its not quite as dark.
>Lone Star
This is one of the best clean amps Mesa makes but the overdrive/distortion is more 'vintage' sounding. Really good with pedals of course. I would also suggest checking out the new Fillmore amp, to me it sounds even nicer than the Lone Star and I think its basically the successor to the Lone Star in a way.

Attached: IMG_20190524_174857553.jpg (4160x2340, 2.21M)

They’re good for strumming, particularly for slow songs where the chords get to ring out. If you can play a six string you can already play a twelve as they use standard tuning but in octaves on the thinner strings.

They are uncomfortable and impractical for fingerstyle though. Leo Kottke was able to do fingerstyle on them well but he seriously fucked up his hand doing it. If you are a singer and rhythm player you will have fun with a twelve string but if you want it for fast melody stick with the six.

star and shield ground, get a good cable

i dont give a fuck about your question im just posting to say that guitar looks pretty nice dude. Something about an sg in black and white is utterly chad-like. keep it or keep your virginity
>no neck binding
yeah acutally thats a little bit gay. would luck much cooler if it had a nice white stripe along the top, plus its a little uncomfortable on the gf (your hand) when you slide her along it cause the frets might scratch her

oh disregard all i have posted, i see you are intent on keeping your virginity for all eternity. but you do you user and have fun with it.

Which one out if these would be the best if I want Fender like cleans and Marshall like crunch? Have you heard the Shiva by Bogner, any thoughts on it?

Eat kaka and die

hey guys total newfag to /gg/ (and guitars in general) just have a simple question, what's the lead guitar (and mby amp and pedals) that Joy Division use on "day of the lords"? i like that tone.

i have a juno-g synth that i was looking to trade or sell (i think i can get around 400-500€ forit) to get a guitar that sounded like that

What's the most edgy metal guitar with good quality i can afford? I have $730

Attached: death-metal.jpg (1600x1200, 914K)

Nice. Thank you

Definitely go Triple Crown for that. With the presence and mids up on channel 2 you'll get Marshall crunch easily without the tight mode engaged. I have looked at the Shiva and its a really nice amp and honestly is pretty similar to the Triple Crown but is 2 channel as opposed to 3 (which isn't a bad thing, just different). It doesn't have the Mesa distortion sound (which I prefer), but is more hot-rodded Marshall like. They are both a bit darker sounding distortion wise, not as bright as a Plexi but I find I can make the Mesa way brighter because the presence/treble knobs really do change it up a ton which in turn gets it more into Marshall sound. The clean channel is also really good, more Fender like than the Bogner. The Bogner is also heavier weight wise if that matters and they're both PCB amps (which is totally fine when done right). Its also worth mentioning the Mesa can handle 6L6, 6V6 and EL-34s whereas the Shiva comes in EL-34, 6L6 and other models but not inter-changable which the power tubes change things up quite a bit. For me the Mesa is the best but the Bogner is definitely a beautiful amp too, I would be happy with either one.

Does holding the guitar casual style have any advantages over classical at all? I mean recently i started fucking around with it and to my amazement everything became FAR easier. picking and fretting were both much easier. I read that maybe strumming could be a little harder but i havent noticed any real problems with that either (although i dont do much of it)

Anyone with a fender style bass around, I got a dumb question?
Is the ring-shaped button that keeps the top two strings pressed down past the nut on the headstock supposed to be pressing down the strings and making a V shape of sorts?

How is the Mark V more versatile than the Triple Crown? Can you get American tones out out the TC?

>american tones
wew lad

Thinking of picking up a Yamaha Pacifica 112 after years of playing a cheap acoustic, is this a good choice or is there something cheaper in my budget

I've got a Musicman Sterling but it has the same thing on the head, it does push the strings down. I'm not sure what you mean by a v shape though.

Just do whatever is comfortable for you.

When standing I play the guitar at a bit of an angle as barre chords are difficult if the neck is horizontal.

Well they're both really versatile. They just sort of trade blows depending on what you're trying to get out of the amp. The TC-50 with 6L6 tubes can definitely do the American high gain sounds (just search up vids). The built in EQ just makes the Mark IMO a little more versatile overall, if you put an EQ pedal with the TC its also pretty much limitless. Another thing is the Mark simply has more switches/knobs which control the gain stages and compression which when combined with all the other stuff I mentioned here, really makes it flexible. Main reason I like the TC I find it easier to dial in overall and it covers the sounds I like with ease.

I meant that Fender stocks are kind of angled away from you and that without the round button the strings wouldn't be touching the nut?

>meme pedal

I would imagine it's probably there for intonation, to put more tension on the D and G strings. Have you lost the button or something, what's the problem?

What are the mints for? Bad breath mid-gig?

>Does holding the guitar casual style have any advantages over classical at all?

It does not. In my holy opinion I think you always ought to go with the classical position but if you think that looks dorky then I guess you can go with a flamanco position.

I think I'll go check out the Triple Crown sometime in the future now. Do you recommend getting the head or the combo? Thanks a lot btw.

whats a good way to learn patterns used in rock solos

To offset the salinity left in poorfags mouths when they see my gear.

Attached: 1551288541157.jpg (2916x3416, 2.89M)

the reason i ask is because it seems very rare (at least where i live) that other people I see playing ever hold it in the classical position. i know it makes me sound a bit petty/vain to say this but im worried it might make me look a like a bit of hipster for doing it all the time. but it really is what works for me.

No, I just can't tell if my neck has too much relief or if the headstock is supposed to be angled that way by design, this is my first fender shaped bass so I'm not familiar

Thanks for the reply anyway

yeah im thinking that pretty based

I'm learning about as quickly as I did 14 years ago when I started band in 6th grade. I do not see the issue here...

>not wanting that minty fresh toan

Attached: 1542076399646.jpg (500x375, 190K)

If you're not sure take it to a shop to get set up. I put off going to the shop for ages, tightening it myself, eventually I couldn't get it where I wanted and took it in. I'd overtightened it, and it was actually too straight, they sorted it out and it only cost me £25 for a full service.

That's a load of shit, end yourself

I see a lot of people play live as I do an open mic at least once a week, I wouldn’t ever look down on someone playing guitar in classical position, particularly if they are good.

Once thing I don’t understand is how someone can play comfortably when the guitar is at their crotch, I see people do this trying to look cool and I do think less of them.

i'm jealous of this posts (you) power

Are you concerned about playing well or posing?
Who gives a shit what the next uneducated guitarist does?
I bet they've also got their thumb over the neck and a death grip with their palm on the back of the neck.

Sherwood Green

>the guitar is at their crotch
care to elaborate? do you mean just having the guitar strap really loose so the guitar hangs low so they look like kirk hammet?
>their thumb over the neck and a death grip with their palm on the back of the neck
i was no stranger to doing that up until just recently lmao (not anymore though just no need for it really)

>I bet they've also got their thumb over the neck

Why does this bait people? I have my thumb resting over the neck as it’s most comfortable for me, I don’t touch the strings with it at all, will only change position to centre of neck for barre chords.

>care to elaborate? do you mean just having the guitar strap really loose so the guitar hangs low so they look like kirk hammet

I had to Google him - even lower than that and with an acoustic, these players are always gash too. I don’t know why people do this.

Yeah and they're shitty players that listen to rock. Shred that blues lick one more time, old man! Now that was music with soul alright.

I like the head most. Lighter weight, better ventilation overall. I like using a closed back cabinet as well compared to the open back of the combo but it just depends what sounds you like. The combo comes with nice rollers so its pretty easy to move around even with the extra weight.

>gash
im sorry dude what does that mean?
im not sure im getting the scope of your post. can you please simplify for an actual brainlet?

A gash is an unsightly vagina, also know as an axe wound.

In the context I used it it means the player is bad.

Your hands will cramp like crazy. Pacificas have the thinnest necks I've ever seen on electric guitar. The nutwidth is absolutely painful to play. If you already know that you like playing guitar, I'd invest into a decent fender. Baja teles have really chunky and thick necks, charvels also have good profiles. I would heavily advice you to check the necks out in a store before ordering. Electrics and acoustics are worlds apart.

My hands are small so when I play open A my hand mute the high e. Not a big problem but annoying. What do? If I move my hand my thumb won't reach and mute the low E

You're crippling your stretch distance and aren't allowing your thumb to act as the pivot/focal point that it's meant to be.
It's not about bait, you'd be a better player by correcting shit technique.

Use a unique finger to fret each note.(1,2, and 3)
Put your thumb lower under the neck, roll your wrist forward a bit, make sure your palm isn't touching the bottom of the guitar, use the very tips of your fingers to depress the string.

Are you supposed to hit the strings with your pick in a parallel position to them? I've noticed that when I hit them the way I do, the strings vibrate up and down, causing fret buzz.

Could be striking too hard.
Try using less of the pick overall to strike. Another way to think about it is the need to play quieter, the problem often sorts itself when you play softer.

Also possible your guitar has a little bit of a buzz.

Hasn’t caused any problems though. I have reasonably long fingers and I don’t have a death grip on it either.

Has any ever had an experience with a guitar teacher (at a young age) that went out of their way to make sure that students never got to good to not need lessons from him again? When i was young my parents sent to a guitar teacher who for almost a whole decade i thought was absolutely hot shit.

are you in the uk by any chance?

nope. the faggots name was frank (australia)

Super typical for guitar teachers. I don't think it's a scheme to have the students come back for more lessons though. It's just that although you're good at playing the instrument doesn't mean that you're a good teacher.

If you're looking for a guitar teacher look for someone specifically saying that they're trained in, or focuses on jazz or classical.

Not this but when I was 11 I had a really shit guitar teacher that "taught" us at lunch time at school. Fucker didn't turn up half the time, and when he did, usually only had time to teach the girl group first. When we did get a lesson, he was always giving us the bill or asking for the cheque.
Looking back I learned fuck all. Didn't bother picking up a guitar again for another 10 years. I'd convinced myself that I just wasn't any good. A couple of months ago I started teaching myself via online guides and a mate who's been playing for a few years. I'm still doing beginner stuff but I've already learned far more than I thought I ever would.

Thanks mate lol

Yeah that's probably what I'll do, these 2019 standards are pretty nice

>If you're looking for a guitar teacher look for someone specifically saying that they're trained in, or focuses on jazz or classical.

I had a guitar teacher who was a jazz guitarist and it took six months for him to teach me all he knew about folk fingerstyle before I had to find someone more specialist. He kept trying to steer me towards lead guitar even though I made it clear I wasn’t interested.

Am I spending too much buying a MIM fender player as a first guitar?
Anything else in this range I should consider?
Do I have to get a strat?

>pedals cost more than guitar

yeah i'd rather just have a gibson kid. something that sounds good without all those damn effects.

maybe one day you'll stop staring at the ground and actually play the thing

>am i spending too much buying a beaner boat paddle?
if it costs more than $5
>anything else i should consider?
a job and a gibson.

thank me later.

The casual over the hip position was invented by self taught fags and will give you wrist pain unless you cross your legs and raise the neck like this

There are two valid playing positions: classical and flamenco

Anything else and you're like a violinist that plays from the lap

Attached: maxresdefault.jpg (1280x720, 90K)

The beauty of a classically trained guitarist is that they should be able to look at any piece of music you put in front of them and break it down one chunk at a time.
Most techniques people use are implied or overtly stated in sheet music. When I have to teach from a genre I'm unfamiliar with, I'll begin by looking for sheet music.

any tips for learning solos like this?

I bought a stool to play in classical position and its so much more comfortable and you hold the neck in a much better spot

Where's her fucking mouth and nose

Gibsons actually do sound and play better

Fenders have a weird curvature to the fretboard and single coil pickups really limit the genres you can play while humbuckers don't. Also 24.5 is the best scale length. Save up for a used les paul. Just go on reverb and search for used gibsons under $800.

Besides, mexican quality is crap. Fender specs MIM guitars to just be worse than american ones instead of good for the price. Or else people wouldn't buy the American ones since the wood is pretty much the same and so is the ethnicity of the workers.

>guitar solo

God is this still a thing? How horrible.

Practice legato

hipsters begone

guitar solos date back to the days of orchestra with violin solos

T. Twink with no skills and 100 pedals.

Apples to Oranges, cringe boomer. Lube up your Ibanez and press the headstock into your prostate already.

git gud

The real question is why you don’t write your own material instead of playing pithy solos that do nothing but flaunt technical skill. There’s a big difference between typing words fast and typing up a novel.

I ordered a prestige ibanez and i cant wait till it gets here boomer gibson fags btfo

>Hipsters literally can not stop thinking about cocks and gay sex
>Hipsters are offended by anything that they can misinterpret as showing off because it makes their talentless asses feel bad for not developing skills other than speed-tweeting
>"everyone pls play really slowly with everyone else so you don't look too good at guitar okay everyone is equal"

Hahahahaha

I'm a boomer gibson fag and ibanez is one of the few other brands I can stand. Know why?

Because even though they look like fenders they're secretly SG wannabes.

>furiously jacks his tiny dick

Typical millennials can't back their shit up

The only criticism their MTV damaged brains can come up with is "its 2019 we shouldn't be doing the stuff our dads liked"

i need the practice for technical skill, also why can't you learn songs you like made by artists that inspire you

the absolute state of indiefags

>MTV
God fucking what?

Even worse, a zoomer.

I'm starting lessons back up again with a solid teacher whos in a touring band and has a background in shred metal, jazz, and prog rock last time I took lessons was 2 years ago and I had a hard time keeping up so I stopped and focused on practicing what I learned now I've got a way better grasp on the instrument and know about chord building and can read sheet music

My question is how can I make the most out of these lessons? Should I ask the teacher to help me come up with a regimented practice schedule?

Huge mistake, you'll regret it

>millennials
>their MTV damaged brains
lol this is your brain while furiously jacking your tiny dick

Can you youngins ever stop thinking about penis?

should have bought an ESP instead

Inspires you to what, not write original material? Soloing is for middle school talent shows. Get a grip, Christ.

The solo is dead in rock ever since the "people who suck can make music too" pop music revolution but is still alive in Jazz

Rock is dead and Jazz is now considered America's classical music

>Guitar improv bad
No, hair metal fag playing a scale fast and acting like he's more than a self taught goober bad.

Hi guys,
Looking to buy my 1st electric guitar. I really know nothing about what makes them good or bad. I went into a guitar store and the staff member as friendly as he was he deafened me with terminology I didn't understand.

My musical influences are
Megadeth
Iron Maiden
Joe Satriani
The Animals
The smiths

I'n terms of looks, but knowing nothing about performance I like the Schecter Omen Extreme, Ibanez S621 and the PRS SE standard 24.

Would these guitars all be able to produce the tones of my musical influences if paired with the right amp & pedals?

Is any one of the ones I listed better in some way than the others? And they all feel awkward to me.

And, like clockwork, more cringe strolls into the thread.

if you like those guitars you'll love a gibson SG

all those guys played tube amps, get one of those.

>whines about no one caring when he furiously jacks his tiny dick
>"Can you youngins ever stop laughing about me whining about no one caring about me furiously jacking my tiny dick?"
lole

Improv is for equipment failures. Ever been on a stage before?

Bought this mini guitar off a crackhead for 20 bucks, can anyone help ID what model it is?
Its a National brand.

I am not musically inclined and was hoping i could learn to play something.
The missing dial and hardware were in the case surprisingly.

All the SG's I can afford new look like poo.
I'f I had 2k to drop on one an SG standard HP trans black would be nice, but that's about 4 times the price of the ones I listed.

You're just being a fag because you have nothing meaningful to contribute to anything.

that's a lap guitar, you play it with a slide.

Attached: 173029-325x216-steel-guitar-slide.jpg (325x216, 12K)

That’s a Lap Steel user, meaning it’s worthless to you but a great deal for $20

>and they say he's still whining to this day

Get a job before you get a guitar

buy a jackson slap a trash factor pick ups on that bitch.

later as you get money buy a low output guitar with a vintage paf for music like the animals and the smiths

geting a low output guitar is more expensive as these guitars are market to boomers.

Does this sound like a direct ripoff of some random guns n roses song or some other classic rock

I'm trying to make some tracks to demo myself for Fiverr, any tips

Do you sit in a chair while your Ibanez hangs over your gut or

>. Also 24.5 is the best scale length
Why?

I have a job.
Ok, It sounds like you have genuine advice but again terminology is a problem for me.
How do I know the difference between a low output a high output?
What is a paf?
Thank you for your patience.

>trans black
why you want your SG to be transexual ?
you gay son

what the hell is this?

*ahem*
it's called a metronome
then it's called a practice regiment

Who said i don't. All you have is implications but thats it. Im not eben the original guy youre talking to but you set my gaydar off
Good luck with your new toy lol

>you set my gaydar off
Cringe and Cringepilled

*24.75

Because it has more sustain and is more comfortable to play. You can reach about one or two more frets than you could with a fender.

25.5 has more twang and is better for downtuning to play "metal"

you ain't ever wrote anything worth a fuck

Attached: 1545780632493.jpg (4160x3120, 3.7M)

Just play to form & feel. Length has different behind the nut bends, & more fashionable to use .11 gauge strings on one versus the other.

Attached: danguit.jpg (720x960, 51K)

you bought that shit stolen off a poor cracka.

so what do I start with instead?
I can afford more but I’m not because I don’t know how much time I’ll put into it yet since I haven’t even touched one

I wrote my name with my cum on your moms chest. Thats already worth more than anything you can write my retarded acquaintance.

That's all day laborers can afford.

How do I stop nudging other strings when doing big bends?

you can't play worth a fuck

>Joe Satriani
yikers

Hows fret dressing?

you should pay a damn luthier to do it for you pal, dont be stingy and pay for it chum.

You don't need to do this unless you're an idiot

I'm not asking about the technique
The actual track will be recorded within a daw with metronome

if you can't play for shit what difference does it make?

The absolute state of shredders.

lole he got so triggered, didn't he?

Yes, these Boomers are upset, fellow sage Zoomer. Peace be upon you, and may good taste continue to bless you everywhere you go. Death to Boomers.

That makes me 10x better than you still.

lulz look at how we trigger them so

Attached: 1541283009855.jpg (600x574, 30K)

real talk most people who "like, hate guitar solos" tend to like music that's just one protracted guitar solo like chon, just don't like guitar at all, or are tumblr kids who hate anything associated with white people because they have yet to become aware of every other race's rich history of hatred and genocide (being ignorant americans).

>jcm 900
I remember these. What a piece of shit.

No, it’s just that our music taste really improved after 14 and we fully realize and understand that suckling the teats of people like Slash and Buckethead is going to do the opposite of getting you laid.

4 days off this week /gg/ i got so much practice in. And ive been using my ab y pedal it works great. Im really liking putting my jcm900 on a vintage crunch setting and my joyo on the clean channel. Spanky and slightly compressed tones. Sounds great in the 2 and 4 positions of my strat.

WHAT HAS /GG/ BEEN WORKING ON?

Attached: 20190127_113327.jpg (4160x3120, 2.86M)

That's a terrible amp. The guitar on the right I know is a passable all-purpose beginner axe but it looks filthy and not taken care of. The guitar on the left is a total piece of shit - equal to the worst LP gibson ever made only it costs as much as it should. Still doesn't make it good though.

>a tiny dick jackers brain on /pol/
lole

>muh dick
And yet here you are incel, with your enlightened musical taste and all.

Almost like if you werent getting laid nothing will get you laid anyway.

I only play medieval and renaissance pieces

>After 14
>Still likes music to get laid

it does not sound like you matured at all and are still stuck in high school

when you actually grow up you won't define your personality with what music you listen to. which should be any time now since you still remember who fucking slash is.

>4 days off this week
I guess day laboring in an earthquake prone area goes like that sometimes.

I guess being a third world peasant means you dont celebrate the 4th of july.
Lmfao try again dumbass. Or maybe dont you already made yourself look stupid

>muh Tumblr retard trying to muh dick me

Don't get so upset, Jcum. Everybody knows day laborers can take as many days off as they like, it's one of the perks of being otherwise unemployable.

Yeah, the albino really ties it all together.

Childhood: Guitar solos are awesome! WIDDLY WIDDLY DEEEEEEE
Adolescence: Guitar solos are actually garbage wank. Fuck guitar solos. Play rhythm and sing about global warming.
Adulthood: Guitar solos can be good or bad. Most rock music just sucks all around.

Do you not know what you wrote? Are you really that stupid? Go ahead and take a look. Then get back to me. Youre not on 9gag anymore bud. You obviously cant hang here.

Reminder that if you’re playing for girls then learn guitar.

I’ve asked multiple girls if they would rather have attractive guy playing guitar or bass and they all say guitar. Not even a meme, I guess the stereotype exists for a reason.

Unironically this.

You can get a used Schecter or Jackson for that much, easy.

>i was pretending to be retarded
>and im going to pretend youre mad because youre right
Lmfao keep going retard. Ill be watching.

I should ask you the same lmao. Don’t you have some sweet licks to practice?

this definitely won’t get you laid, you are so nasty about your ex

Adult women don't really give a fuck even if they say they do

What's more important is that you're a mature adult with a good paying job and an education instead of a poorfag manchild who picks up hobbies to try to impress women

Who says im not? Stay trolling here. Its all you have Lmfao. Should i get a keisel next?

>jcum was here five minutes
>got bullied

lole

Oh man, I know exactly what's going on. Your sense rhythm fucking sucks and you think you can fake it better when you play lead. Post a recording of you playing so we can laugh at you.

everyone calm the fuck down

and explain why you don't have a strat with hot rails in the bridge, the best possible guitar

Attached: taeno.png (349x534, 199K)

I can, that's just a sketch. Can you please evaluate the part that's being played regardless of how it's being played?

Check the post above you homie. Slow your roll.

Mmmm.. now this is what I call salty.

I... I can't.

>he's too stupid to walk away
classic jcum

Im looking to spend around 2k. What passive pickup shredder do you recommend? Kiesel seems like the best choice so far.

He never learns.

What about the single coil neck? You'll just leave that neosoul sounding piece of shit in there?

In the grander scheme of things, you’re just another nobody guitar player like myself. The difference between us is that while I’m content playing a Strat into a Vox AC15, you feel the need to overcompensate with distortion, more than six strings, tegnigal skeel, and general Boomer anger.

Not to impress but Guitar is more attractive than Bass it’s that simple.

Also for yourself I agree but for women I disagree, the post comes across like a betabuxxer.

Why? You can't play the guitars you already own, you dumb shit.

K
>vox ac15
Kek tell us more about your peasantry.
The difference between us is i buy the gear i want you buy the gear you can.

I dont have a passive fr guitar obviously retard. Why do other people buying gear trigger you?
Also i dont have any guitar with more than 6 strings you massive faggot

Attached: 10052586.jpg (210x210, 30K)

Would it flick your bean to know it’s the handwired version? The difference is that I can do plenty fine with the gear I have, while you most likely insist on buying a 200w Marshall head with a 4x12 that will never leave your home.

>all he has are old pics proving user is a homeowner
Lmfao. Keep going retard.

Soulless

PermaRenter /= Homeowner

Because i can. I know thats hard for a peasant like you to understand.

Pavlovian conditioning is a success.

Imagine having fat yet small fingers and hands

>Schecter Omen Extreme
>Ibanez S621
>PRS SE standard 24
Any of these should do the job well. Seems like you could benefit from a versatile guitar, so look into instruments with both humbuckers (H) and single coil (S) pickups. Some guitars have H-S-S or H-S-H configs installed, look into those too and listen to the demos of both clean and distorted channels. Ideally you'd want a high output pickup in bridge position as it's what's used for most metal songs.
