There are people who unironically pretend to like tv static to seem cool lmao.
There are people who unironically pretend to like tv static to seem cool lmao
the music sucks but the art is pretty cool
at this point we have 50 "imagine pretending to like noise" threads for every noise thread.
it's over, you ran them off the board.
some harsh noise is fun live, but the ones i usually see have beats behind them and someone yelling things so theres something to mosh too
Textures man
so if i fart into a mic for hours is it music now? cool
Theres people who buy that shit on cassette just get it on cd like i did

I think the point of harsh noise was to make the most extreme thing possible, but at some point it kinda wears off and becomes boring

Wow it's this thread again...

MUH TEXTURES
this any day, for sure. Power electronics and death industrial, even when not made by trannies, are some of the most creatively bankrupt genres of music in existence. Harsh noise is pretty good when there's more dynamics to it than just
>loud sound for 60 minutes that barely changes at all during the entire duration
This is the kind of music that has "uses" other than active listening; they just all tend to suggest mental illness or a desire to induce it.
Harsh noise is the electronic equivalent of slam death metal
It all sounds the same and hurts to listen to for more than 30 minutes
when did this website become so obsessed with "trannies"
Yea Forums drives any topic into the fucking ground
Trannies have been turning incels into even more trannies, so now a big proportion of Yea Forums are trannies (the dumbest ones).

there's a bunch of em
same. These threads just make me feel bad for the anons who honestly can't understand what there is to like about noise. Pulse Demon is particularly ear damagingly difficult to listen to so I can understand, but the appeal of the textures just seems so obvious to me. Noise haters are just missing out.
actually yeah, this is a rather shitty introduction to merzbow, his other 90s stuff is way more varied
>“textures”
Yeah I also listen to music that has textures but there’s more than one and it’s actually dynamic and not tv static.
As I said I can understand not liking Pulse Demon in particular, though I think the textures are really pleasing, as you say it is monotonous. I haven't, and wouldn't want to listen to Pulse demon all the way through or even for more than a few minutes at a time, but when I listen to it, it is still a fun experience.
