Nirvana is just a watered down version of the bands Kurt listened to, nothing very groundbreaking and immensely overrated.
Still enjoyable though and i would choose them over Pearl jam any day

Pearl Jam is one of those bands that's underrated on Yea Forums but overrated in the rest of the world. Their 90s output is pretty solid

the mainstream hits from nirvana are, but if you look deeper into their discography, they're nothing like them. i hate green day and blink-182, but i absolutely love nirvana.
nirvana has the obvious pop-y songs, but it also has some hard rock songs, some folk rock songs, and some weird, experimental songs.
