reminder that if you listen to more than 3 or 4 albums a day and you rate regularly you're a fucking ratings-padding pseud and you're a complete dilettante

Yhä hämärää is great. Check out Natural Snow Buildings, Kemialliset Ystävät, Lau Nau, and Islaja if you haven't already
Ryan Green
I'll definitely check them out, thanks for the tips

"Anima Latina" is a truly magical, I'm spellbound every time like it's the first.
"Verdancy" has some amazing moments and textures. I get the explorative nature of records like this and long albums aren't meant to be listened to in one sitting, but next time, I'll probably try to make a shorter album out of it :)
Did you really listen to a 2-hour Chris Brown album all the way through (or how far did you get)? Why torture yourself, just to give it a 0.5? :)
Paranoid at 2.5, come on, you can do better than that...
David Martinez
Joshua Powell
Verdancy is probably best listened to as four separate albums I've found, listening to it that way made it much more enjoyable for me.
As for Indigo I just kinda put it on in the background while cleaning. I felt I should at least give the album a chance before rating it 0.5 which I wanted to do anyway
Luke Cooper
surfers too low amigo
brut is cool
pretty based
sufjans is wayy too low bro and frank ocean is cringe
based pan sonic
person pitch is too low, respectable paavoharju rating though. id lower fishmans a bit however
based snares and aphex, even more based jai paul rating
Dominic Cook
I tried several times, but I guess person pitch will be that album that everybody likes but I can't really get into it
Mason Brown
I don't know why I put Kesto off so long I'm already a fan of Mika's work. I expected the album to be harsher based on people's reactions but it was quite the journey regardless
Ian Scott
yeah i didnt like it at first myself, but after a few listens it really grew on me. i can understand why one might not like it though
yeah i thought it was gonna be some extremely unbearable fuck fest of noise that went on forever, but its actually some of the most groovy bleeps ive ever heard

B-52's is an act I think i *should* get, but man oh man do i hate that album
People hating on that random DeathGrips release. I get it's kind of throwaway, but i do sort of like the energy of it.
Paranoid that low... kinda surprised
Redpill me on Velocity:Design:Comfort. I can't stand that album no matter how hard i try.
Yet you're in it, which, in a way, kinda makes you the biggest snob itt
You're probably right, but, whatever I do what I wanna, olright mate?

I'm with you on Echo & the Bunnymen. Never understood the love for "Ocean Rain " myself, I've heard E&tB only to that point and it's by far the weakest album out of first 4 and last time I revisited it I liked it even less.
And what the fuck with low Black Sabbath scores in this thread. "Master" is such a great album and you have fucking Calvin Harris rated higher.
Stop overrating Jai Paul lol

Don Ellis and the new Jute Gyte are great
Ambient Black Magic was good but not that much of a standout imo
Ghost Reveries is Opeth's strongest album
What did death grips do THIS time?
Leprosy bands, Paranoid is solid but I can see where you're coming from
same. That Reinier van Houdt record is available now? hell yeah
what's it like?
Honestly I really disliked that Hatchie album. Just sounded like Avril Lavigne with reverb instead of energy to me
Witchcraft Rebellion deserves more imo
Anthony Clark
>What did death grips do THIS time?
listen for yourself youtu.be
James Anderson
oh I'm not interested in their music at all, I'm just curious what kinda marketing stunt they pulled this time to warrant half-star outrage
James Gutierrez
Latest Hatchie has its highs and lows, I'm not denying it, but to me it was a pretty big improvement of her earliest ep (which was pretty... plan, not really interesting).
