I don't understand the appeal of Pink Moon- can someone explain to me? Five Leaves Left is a fucking perfect album, and Bryter Layter is nice jazzier, poppier variation on that style. Pink Moon is so bare bones it's hard to listen to. I get that Nick Drake got depressed but what makes this album so beloved besides context? The songwriting maybe?
