It's definitely up there. Diary is really good, so is the american football's self titled. Remo drive's greatest hits is my favorite though

I can't into this album guys, I want to like it but I feel all of the climaxes just miss or go over my head and I never get chills from it

>this album will NEVER be available on physical formats because Adam Zimzam lost the fucking masters

tell me about the long dark path home is far superior, chaos is me is also better if we are counting that as emo.
that being said back from discomfort is easily an 8 or 9

is right too and greatest hits is all slappers

Sure, but that's not saying much if anything at all.

For me, it’s Frame & Canvas.

Yes
Calling it emo is accurate but still tragically misleading

no doubts about it. analphadaddyfuckme comes close tho

These are the best Emo albums I've heard yet, I am still exploring the Emo genre and its sub-genres though, I am a big fan though.
Read along to the lyrics as you listen to the music, not saying that the instrumentals themselves aren't magnificent themselves, but it helped me to "get" the album, to follow it better.
It's on my wishlist, hope it's good, user.

Without a doubt. It has everything yiu would want, twinklyness of american football, frustration of william bonney and lyrical content out the arse.

Would prefer a version of it on vinyl that isn't sourced from digital.

It's extremely good, sort of in a league of it's own. It's like saying is *this art pop* album the best pop album? You know?

Just Got Back is ultimately an experimental artsy rock band with all these different elements that are normally nowhere to be found in emo albums like
>Daniel Johnston like lo-fi sections
>progressive song structures
>bizarre cacophonous lyrics
>ambient sections
>horns
And more

It's so removed from the general form of emo it's hard to even call it emo. Even though there are blatantly midwest emo sections in songs as a whole the songs are wildly their own thing.

I consider it an "art rock" album

I prefer my emo cheesier

that's always been an alt rock album to me sounds nothing like any of the established emo sounds out there

Brand New share more in common with bands like Smashing Pumpkins than they do with Sunny Day Real Estate or Snowing

do you even listen to the lyrics fucker

>TDAG
>Not the Emo album of the century
Breh

>Full Collapse
I came into this thread expecting to hate everything except for the OP, but you guys are all right. I hate that these are considered "emo" though.

>I hate that these are considered "emo" though.
Why though?
I have no idea what you are talking about, Sunny Day Real Estate sound very Alt-Rocky especially later down in their career. Brand New might have had a different sound but they're Emo as fuck.ů

Yes, it is a ridiculously good album. Crazy that Adam Demajasjdjais was like less than 20 when he made this. I heard he does all the guitars and drums too?

>bizarre cacophonous lyrics
well that goes all the way back to Capn Jazz

>best emo album of all time
>not solitude
is this bait?

not too fast kiddo hehe

this is underrated as hell
my favorite album from them

BASED

For me it is. I have listened to more than a hundred emo albums and this is my favourite emo record.

I genuinely don't understand why people enjoy this band, especially the pretentious fucks on this site. The production is horribly bland, boring instrumentals, childish lyrics that feel like they were stolen from the diary of an edgy 12 y/o, etc. I used to hate most emo and have been coming around to a lot of it lately, but this band has consistently failed to make sense to me. It feels poetic that the dude is a pedophile scumbag.

This
They sound more like your typical indie band than emo

>Being wrong
Wah lah

it's actually this

pussy music

no u

for me it’s nothing feels good

there's a fine line between good and cringe with emo and 95% of it is the latter

Name 10 albums that are cringe.

for starters

AS IF I WERE ASLEEEEEEEEEP

The production is exactly what it needs, the choruses explode nicely
>Childish lyrics
It's better than most of emo, most of whic his about "my gf left me :(".

garbage

ok

hehe
