separating art from the artist only applies when the art was already good. bad art is made even worse knowing it was made by an asshat. think about it, Angelic 2 the Core is utter shit, but we don't shit on it nearly as much as we do anything by XXXTentacion, since Corey Feldman is completely harmless

i disliked the album on release before it had a reputation one way or another. i was curious about this new metal act everyone was so into. decided it wasn't for me.

but then i saw the interviews and how fucking obnoxious he was. and then the fanbase started spreading across the internet, claiming that metal was "back" or that this was the greatest metal album ever made. complete fucking morons who maybe a week before would have talked about how "problematic" burzum was and not even be able to name another non-thrash metal band suddenly had unanimously decided THIS was the most important fucking document in the history of one of my favorite genres.

and then Yea Forums became flooded with redditors like you who can't even use google and so shitpost that stupid fucking album cover looking for more music that sounds like it. it's a small genre made entirely by faggots. you could likely look up "faggot metal" and get a decent list of albums you'd like. but no, you have to come here and start this fucking discussion over and over and over again because you refuse to lurk, you refuse to learn about metal, you refuse to expand. you just human centipede engorge yourself on the shittiest recycled garbage version of metal music ever made.
