>show America's Most Blunted to my Kenyan friend
>he skips the whole intro
>after a minute says its "weird and boring" and puts on Migos
>literally was too pleb for the most accessible track
Do blacks not get Doom? Every Doom fan I know is either white or an indian/paki
Show America's Most Blunted to my Kenyan friend
Have you ever seen The Boondocks? Some blacks are more like Huey, some more like Riley. You found a Riley.
Because his whole style and aesthetic is designed to appeal to non blacks. Black people, generally speaking, look for two things in rap....how much it relates to the hood and says things the average non black wouldn't understand, or how much it makes you want to shake your ass.
It'll take a few minutes to convince the average bug-a-boo
Still I've noticed that a lot of critically acclaimed music by blacks like Coltrane or TPAB isnt even appreciated by most of them
because it's "acclaimed" by white people
Really depends on who it is. Showing black art to a black pleb is like trying to play something like Big Black for my dad who grew up on AC/DC and Ted Nugent. Might seem like kind of the same music to the untrained casual but it's really not. Normies need their music in context. If they can't relate it to other things they've already heard somehow their brains just go poof. This is true regardless of race.
For some context I'll let you know I wasn't initially into MF DOOM myself. I used to hang out on IRC and download all the latest leaked hip hop albums and one time I saw MM Food in the topic as the latest shit out. I asked everyone in the channel if it was any good and basically got a bunch of mehs. They were into the mainstream shit that I was also into at the time, to be totally fair mainstream hip hop back then shits on something like Migos though. Later on a friend of mine I shared a lot of music with and got lots in return sent me the song Green and Gold. I became really obsessed with it and played it over and over for about a year. It was the only DOOM song I liked even though I checked out his other stuff, it just took some time for the rest of it to click. When I got a bit older I got into shit like Dr. Octagon and DOOM's full catalog.
What music are you into these days?
Hip Hop still but none of that zoomer shit. Anybody the Alchemist produces, anything Griselda, Freddie Gibbs, Action Bronson, Roc Marciano. I also love old soul and r&b music. I'm big into disco re-edit type stuff as well. I was really into Drum & Bass for many years but got kinda burnt out on it. Even though I'm biased towards those genres I try to keep an open mind and find shit I like from lots of different genres. Many of my newer favorites came from listening to radio or browsing youtube.
GOD TIER
CURLS
ALL CAPS
GREAT DAY
>green and gold
red and gold?
Yeah that's it. I'm just retarded because it's 9PM and I've been up since 4AM. Had a fucked up day.

But I'm black you dumb fag. It's not about skin colour it's about the person.
Some blacks just want to turn up you're not gonna force them to listen to some highly intellectual music or something. Same goes with whites. I tried playing a mix for my friend he says what the fuck is this and put on that Future x Thugger tape
you serious bro? the most accessible track is all caps
this has got to be bait
bro don't try and argue with/appeal to wh*teoids on Yea Forums, they only think of people other than whites as objects and couldn't ever possibly think that they are people, so they'll judge you based on how different you are from the "normal" and then if you are even remotely different or say "i don't do X stereotype" they'll just say "based" or some stupid shit
forgot Rhinestone Cowboy
so much fax
fucc em
who didnt know mf doom actually posted here
these lyrics are actually better than most of your older stuff
OH SHOOT, THE GOOSE IS LOOSE
based
1. you forgot to use all caps when you spelled the mans name
2. DOOM fans are usually not black, or if they are, old enough to have known him when they were younger
every person that likes DOOM that i've met are black
Based mainland African disregarding cringe afro-american music.
>Every Doom fan I know is either white
Which is weird since DOOM is a literal kara boga tier anti white racist, remember that whole black supremacist cult he supported once?
DOOM appeals to all kinds of hip hop geeks. I'm brown (as are most of my friends) and we're down with most Stones Throw-core.
>most acessible track
>not Figaro
??
wait the most accessible track on madvillain is prolly like All Caps or Accordion
