I think about becoming part of a world renowned heavy metal band who's known for reviving the purity of it and shits on all the core and cookie monster bands. Then, our music gets played in tons of video games so little kids become indoctrinated into our music automatically gains a nostalgia factor for people who aren't into metal music. Then, I'm a big celebrity in the rock world by now, I am spreading the message of our band across many media platforms as a spokesperson with my trusted bass player, and I use my celebrity to work my way into connections with the toy and game company Hasbro, who feature me as a regular voice actor on their Transformers series cartoons, and ask my band to do the music for their live action Transformers movie series, replacing Linkin Park as the official band of theirs. This will make our music played to many normies, dads, children alike, it will be great promotion.

This won't happen, but I want it to.

If you try to create a sonic soundscape with your black metal instead of focusing on the songwriting itself, it's most likely gonna fall under the banner of atmoshit, although there are a good amount of exceptions.

No. There are entire subgenres such as industrial black metal, war metal, norsecore, black/thrash, first wave black metal, blackened speed metal, and so on and so forth that couldn't be categorized as atmospheric in any way shape or form.
