I know what you're saying. Being an ex-fan I can admit, that Kiedis is pretty talentless, but RHCP would've never been the same without him. I doubt they'd've ever gained any success if it wasn't for Anthony. His style and energy made their otherwise rather complex music very approachable and easy to swallow for any normies.

Lars still contributes more to the music than Kirk, both as a composer and as a Hetfield wrangler. Lars is just kind of in the back and easily tuned out, meanwhile the songs have to be drawn out to fit in one of Kirk's crappy solos.
