--Updates-- 1. New song: The Golden Man (probably the last song I upload from the album before I spend time finishing the rest, mastering and putting on finishing touches) 2. Whenever I hit the three hour limit on SoundCloud, the oldest uploaded music will be taken down and moved to a YouTube account. I don’t plan on selling my music digitally right now, because I am a scared idiot. soundcloud.com/bonbos/sets/upcoming-second-album-demos >dream pop >psychedelic pop/psychedelic rock >synthpop >lofi

"Blassé" music video youtu.be/i4Oy1bbwj3Y >Progressive Hybrid Trap >Experimental Trance >Basement Style
soundcloud.com/dj-dubbi >Dubstep & Post-Dubstep (because I officially ended the genre with my song "End of Dubstep" in 2014) >Hybrid Trap >Progressive House ____________________________________ Not bad overall, but bro heres a tip for getting your guitars to actually sound heavy: Turn knobs marked "gain" or "overdrive" all the way up. Turn other volume knobs down to get the loudness you want. Once you've proved you can get heavy distortion, dial things back to find the tone you want. Some amps won't distort at low volumes, mainly because that's dumb as all hell LOL. Sorry bro, but yo I didn't ask for a diary entry. RECs, I've taught them the only good music knowledge they have in their shrunken lil brains LOL wow I didn't have to go savage mode but I did.
Hmmm.... Ok, so your beats are a big generic and I recognize the Samples. the sample sounds like it was recorded to a 15ips tape machine with a live band going straight through a console, and the drums are coming from a drum machine, synth, or stock DAW drum samples, chances are the context won’t make sense, you should always focus on that crispy sound quality bro. In my mind I’m thinking “ok, what can I do to make these drums sound better, like they BUMP to the sample, but still stick out and hit hard?” Bro... Think about it like this, it might mean you have to be processing to the sample, or processing to the drums, or both. And generally needssome experimentation to make it BOOM in the speaker. And also mmatching the space is super key. This isn’t easy, it takes a really ADVANCED ear like mine. But if you can train yourself to listen to the ambience in the sample and recreate that ambience around the drums, but don't get confused. You follow? Next turn up the EQ low end (bass) and ta-da you're better.
-1st buy fl studio, its all you need at 1st -2nd make a kick/snare rythem -invite some producers over to hang out and get them to help get a melody / bassline idea -3rd get some studio time, 4th, get some experienced producers to work with you durring your session(s) 5th let them do whatever they want to the song to make it good. 6th DONE! you have a new song you can upload online and start blowing up.

>zoomer rock Yo you beginners don't deserve rock, you don't even understand the genre. Bro rock died with Jimmy, you can't just bandwagon jump just because you heard an Xxxtapdancing song with a guitar in it. You need to show respect for real musicians bro. Grow up and respect me and your forefathers bro.

Glad to see yet another thread is being derailed by these people who don't actually like music. I mean "i'm glad" SARCASTICALLY. I don't get the point of coming here and ruining these threads. What could it possibly do to make you guys feel better about your shitty shitty lives. And yes, it's clear that your lives are shitty, if they weren't you wouldn't do this to us here.
DJ Dubbi is an asshole. There's no other way to put it. Every day. Every. Fucking. Day. He comes here and shits on all of our music. We work hard on our craft and all he does is quickly throws a cheesy bass line over a beat. Yet, he has the balls to tell US that our music isn't good. He has the guts to rate our music out of 10? He can't even write a real song that isn't just a rip off of whatever thing is cool, and not done well either. Don't let DJ Dubbi, or any of the trolls here get you down about your craft. DJ fuckface Dubbi is just an autistic faggot who thinks shitting on peoples work is funny. He's not trolling he's just retarded, I fucking hate him, every day he tell me my music is shitty. I've spent half a decade perfecting my craft, and he thinks he can come along and just fuck my career up? Fuck that. Fuck him. We are artists. He isn't. Sorry for the rant.

You love me bro.

>djdubbi.bandcamp.com/album/volume-70-megadubb of all people, i did not want to return feedback to you. sadly i feel obligated to keep that promise i listened to new goliath. it's not bad to introduce yourself with the whole "dj dubbi exclusive" thing, it's a good way to get name recognition, but find a way to make it more unique. it sounds a bit corny this beat isn't even that bad, but that high pitched buzz all throughout gets really tiresome. the guy counting down around 1:10 is really annoying you have some cool sounds right after that, it might be my favorite part of the song, but the part right after literally sounds like autotuned burping. it's fucking obnoxious the chopped up vocals could sound cool, but they hardly serve any purpose in the song. it's as if you're just throwing it in the song so you can say, "look at me, i have a mild understanding of autotune" there are legitimately cool ideas in this song, but it's way oversaturated. pull your head out of your ass and refine your ideas
