A little diddy called King of Carrot Flowers Pt. 1, it's from a super obscure album you probably haven't heard of before

do british people love this song too?

Lmao this song is huge in the UK

Is he the last good frontman?

It's basically our national anthem at this point.

You'll hear it towards the end of the night in most nightclubs, pop or rock, and the whole place goes ballistic.

Killers are basically a UK band.

hot fuss is too front loaded. sam's town is the better album.

>Believe me Natalie
>Midnight Show
>Everything Will Be Alright

Let's agree to disagree

whom actually listens to full albums in order

underrated

You’re right about Sam’s Town being better, but wrong about Hot Fuss being frontloaded (even though the closing track is the worst on the whole album).

>DON'T SHOOT ME SANTA
>I've been a clean living boy
Always looked forward to their Christmas songs.

Pure Christmas kino

their recent stuff has been shit but he has a fantastic iconic voice, and every once in a while a good song slips through like "run for cover"

respectfully disagree. I think Wonderful Wonderful, The Man, Tyson v Douglas, and The Calling are all top tier

Someday by The Strokes, but this is a very close second.

>someday
>literally just a copy of a Buzzcocks song

Test

how can a 10/10 be better than a 10/10?

>a copy of a buzzcocks song somehow became the best rock song of all time

it's hard to explain.

Internet wasnt as ubiquitous for music back then. It's the reason why bands like the Darkness, Hives, Strokes and others got big since most kids wouldn't find 60s/70s rock that easily.

Somebody Told Me

Mr. Brightside is unironically the best song ever. I don't know a single person who doesn't like it. It was crafted by the gods themselves.
If you put this song on at a dying party, it instantly comes alive. Everyone just starts having fun for the next 3 minutes and 40 seconds and singing their hearts out. If you've never experienced it, I feel sad for you.

tfw early-to-mid 2000s indie / garage rock revival didn't last longer

Nowadays it seems like it's a lot more homogenized

the number one killer among black folk

ARE WE HUMAN
