The only artists I've ever heard my dad say he liked or show any respect for at all were The Beatles, Janis Joplin, and I've heard him sing the song Radio Gaga by Queen on occasion.
I don't like those artists and don't like that song. I do however listen to KISS who he said "came out of nowhere looking like fucking space aliens, I didn't like them" and Van Halen who he said "were gay" and Guns N' Roses who he said "were fucking assholes"
