They're sooo good. I also love transient random-noise

its not perfect. literally background music for yuppies in silicon valley core

Not even their best album

>took 2 replies to post the pleb "omg its just muuuuzak"
a tripfag and a pleb, how rare
it is their 'best' album as far as coherence goes
they have 'better', more technical and interesting albums but DaL is a perfect example of fluid movement from song to song imho

Found this on CD at Goodwill. I like the aesthetic of playing it on my old iMac. Pic related.

good album, prefer peng though

Waiting for them to reissue that and Emperor Tomato Ketchup soon

is it just me or have the vocals been mixed louder on this version? besides being speeded up

Remaster?

Possibly
and with bonus tracks like the previous two albums

Dots and Loops does not need a remaster reeeee
it's perfect the way it is

Their Neu album was better

all-analog master at Calyx

why tho? wanting to slap muh analog sound to an album that's 75% mid 90s akai sampler core sounds stupid. the laid back mixing too is top notch

I don't think it's their best album but it does have their best songs. Shit like Refractions In The Plastic Pulse, Diagonals, Parsec and Miss Modular are sublime. For my money though I prefer the 3 albums prior to it as complete album experiences.

>album is literally (right down to the song titles) a modern take on muzak/70s mpb/french pop music

pic related is an upgrade

Nah, I like Pram, but nah.

Contronatura is probably my favorite song here followed by Diagonals, Parsec, and Flower Called Nowhere

>why tho
because of vinyl release
