>doesnt know a single chord
>makes 10/10 albums
music theory is useless
>doesnt know a single chord
>makes 10/10 albums
music theory is useless
your post lacks theory
>>makes 10/10 albums
Yikes and plebpilled
pretty sure he knows chords. how could anyone not know chords? or do you mean how to play them and how they work functionally and from neurological or theory perspective? cause those are all different
He said in a Zane Lowe interview he doesn't and that he's not a 'real musician'
>>makes 10/10 albums
>finds his way from Italy to America
>not a single gallon of fuel
Cars are useless.
That's why he has a team of musicians to work with in every album. Kanye's role in his music is the beat, sampling and lyrics. You don't need to know chords for that.
But go ahead and keep looking for excuses not to put effort into becoming a good musician, loser
Pic related
>finds his way from Italy to America
From Spain technically.
For who does it actually apply though? Kanye couldn't make a 10/10 if his ego depended on it.
So I should know ALL those things?
>music theory is useless
when you aren't making music, sure
at least he is honest about it
>when you aren't making music, sure
And also when you aren't actively listening to it to be honest
It's not much, so it wouldn't hurt. Theoretically you don't have to know shit about anything ... if you have skills to surround yourself with people who do know.
Knowing how to play the piano would take years, so it is a lot to learn.
knowing how only takes a month or too. its the practicing required to play it well that takes time
Knowing how to play at a pop star level takes a year tops unless you wanna be the next Elton John.
t. grade 8 piano
where do i learn? i just wanna know how to make hits like drake or kanye
I'll bet the actual musicians he works with to make his albums know music theory.
where do i learn ?
Well, over the atlantic ocean a car would be kinda useless
You don't even know how to play piano to be a 'pop star', you can sequence all of your instrumental parts in MIDI and just fix your vocals in Melodyne.
His only work is spouting random nonsense over beats he didn't make
>you can sequence all of your instrumental parts in MIDI
but you have to know chords?
at a keyboard
what video should i watch to learn this
A lot of pop stars play the piano live at a basic level.
You're better off with a cheap tutor. You would make far quicker progress. But if you really can't afford then just search piano for beginners on YouTube and read the comments. Then see if you can get hold of the graded syllabus + books beginning obviously with grade 1
how will that translate to being able to do it on a daw
