Old school rap is better than new school

By 'guitar-music', they mean the entire band besides the drummer uses a type of guitar (ie bass and six-string guitars). This isn't comparable to a classical quartet, because only 2 in the quartet use a violin. Likewise, only 1 or 2 in a jazz group would use a saxophone. These genres have prominent violin and saxophone, but it's unfair to say they're violin or saxophone based.
