Fuck no, and it's not even that odd for them when set beside some of the stuff they did on Head on the Door or Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me. Hell, I'd put it above cuts like Why Can't I Be You or Six Different Ways.

Want is top shelf Cure but Jupiter Crash is just sort of alright. Not the album's worst by any means but I see songs like This Is A Lie, Mint Car, Numb and Treasure as more solid highlights.

I thought the same thing but it's grown on me after 10 years, jonny's coin trick with the guitar to make the violin noise is pretty cool. he also punches his guitar to make some of the ambient sounds in the verses. I think the minimalist version of videotape was a misfire compared to the original incarnations of the song therefore I think it's a candidate
