Abbey Road and Revolver are tied imo. Both 10/10.

>Maxwell Nigger Hammer

I've been saying it's a masterpiece for years

I'm in the weirdest camp for Maxwell's Silver Hammer: I think it's a good song, but I don't like how it's placed on Abbey Road. It ruins the flow after Oh! Darling. If you move it to between Octopus's Garden and I Want You (She's So Heavy), it works much better. It also makes the album start with a song by each Beatle

scaruffi hates the beatles, and also anyone who takes scaruffi seriously is a mindless faggot who can't form their own opinions

It’s before Oh! Darling

she's so
HHEEEEEEAVYYYYYYYYYYYY

I'm retarded. I was gonna say either "after Something" or "before Oh! Darling" and mixed them. Still, take my advice and listen to Abbey Road with Maxwell's Silver Hammer between Octopus's Garden and I Want You (She's So Heavy)

This is the only Beatles album which John has the best track. I Want You is phenomenal.

oh yeah? i prefer this version:

First Doom Metal song

*abruptly cuts your song without a transition to Here Comes The Sun*

in my life (mccartney can have this one if he wants it i'm sure he does), happiness is a warm gun, dig a pony, strawberry fields forever

this is neither here nor there but i hate how mccartney markets himself these days by squeezing out another john story. the stories are always embarrassing for john and they always cast paul as the good guy. when i see "john lennon masturbated little boys and laughed about it" in the headlines i'll just know.. "OK... looks like another mccartney album came out"

They couldn't transition, I Want You ends the first side and Here Comes the Sun starts the second side

>7/10

It's perfect.
The last minute of the song repeats itself over and over, almost to the point of being hypnotic.
The sudden stop snaps you out of it.

oh my god he makes his own little pretend albums

Production standards 101

Every first-time Beatles listener's favourite album.

No, that's Sgt. Pepper, or a best of hits album.
It's worse, it's #2

this

absolute kino moment

he actually has a lot of good things to say about the band in his blog post. his gigantic hate boner for the Beatles means he can't give above a 7/10 rating

>Abbey Road and Revolver
fpbp

I'm a Paulfag through and through, but I'll readily admit that the best song on each album is usually a "John song".
>In My Life
>She Said She Said or Tomorrow Never Knows
>A Day in the Life
>Hey Bulldog
>Happiness is a Warm Gun

Of course, nobody ever really mentions how much the other bandmates, George Martin, and the engineers contribute to the "John songs".

do you people really enjoy the Jackhammer and Octopus Garden songs?
I don't deny the Beatles were great, but I think they needed an editor

You're a pleb if you don't like Octopuses Garden
