either pretend to like it or shit on it

Why are all of you listening to fucking Pulse Demon? Go listen to practically ANY OTHER harsh noise album.
If you listen to a meme album, you're gonna get memed on.

Here's my recommendation:
>HARAAM - The Storm That Washed It All Away

I liked the song Shame by Sutcliffe Jugend, anything like that you'd recommend?

get what? it's objectively trash.

Not exactly harsh noise, more death industrial which is outside of my wheel house.

just try to work your way up to harsh noise first, that said that album is pretty fucking overrated as well

Actually you could try
>Ethnic Acid - Power-Works 1986-88

That Sutcliffe song has a very distinct guitar drone which I cannot think of an equivalent for but that Ethnic Acid album is Power Electronics which may feel similar.

Noise music is the objective conclusion of rock. No rhythm, no melody. Just loud feedback. Everything is stripped down to its bare minimum components and those components exaggerated to the extreme. A loud sound, some feedback, and some buildups.

>Noise is the objective conclusion of music.
fixd that

This album is awesome

Go listen to Yellow Swans, Kevin Drumm, Prurient or Merzbow's earlier albums like Antimonument or Echobondage if you're interested in noise.

This is good too but I'd only recommend it if you like breakcore or breakbeat already.

its pretty underwhelming for both of the guys involved honestly
i prefer the destroyer, sounds much more alive than this

pulse demon is honestly just static, his back catalogue is better

Have you heard this? Its pretty noisy

yup, pretty good record

I'd say "conclusion to rock" is a more fitting label. Every genre of music has its own ethos behind it, and so every genre can be deconstructed to its most basic elements and exaggerated, resulting in something completely unique and detached from every other kind of music. Rock music is all about being loud with electronic feedback, and so the conclusion would be a kind of music that is completely reliant on electronic feedback and nothing else. Jazz is all about improvisation, so a conclusion would be a style that is entirely improvised. ect

I audiobly said "yikes" when i read your post it made me so mad and when i get mad i seethe, and now i have to cope with that fact

fpbp

>Rock music is all about being loud with electronic feedback
not at all

Probably one of the primary distinguishing features of rock music from other genres of the time was the electric guitar, electric bass, and the volume. Electric guitar and bass work, using pickups on the strings, which feed back electronically and create a loud electric sound. No other genre at the time was so reliant on the electric guitar, and so electric guitar is the signature instrument of rock music. Rock music was also about taking the loud, raunchy, counter-culture style from blues music to the max, so in a sense, rock is the conclusion to blues music. Noise removes the need for electric guitar to create electric feedback, ditching tonality in the process.

There isn't much to get, it is overrated as fuck. Listen to metal machine music instead.
