They probably have over 100 mediocre songs, and 100 bad ones. they were always, even during the 60s and 70s, known as the kings of filler. Each album had 2 or 3 good songs, and 5 or 6 bad ones.

Exile was one of the first notable rock concept albums that didn’t fall under art-rock. I feel like that album explored a lot of the sounds possible within the confines of true rock and roll, which is to say “boring and generic blues rock riffs (which I agree with btw)”
