General Mars Volta Thread. Discuss favorite albums, members, similar bands, etc. Also want to know what everyone thinks about the reunion- I personally am excited even if they are going to be using completely different members outside of Cedric and Omar, I'm also pretty confident that whatever they write is going to be good, Antemasque and Inter alia were pretty solid.

I wouldn't be surprised if Deantoni comes back since he featured so heavily on Omar's solo stuff the past few years. Also he was the best thing about Noctourniquet anyway.
I expect their reunion album will basically sound like Noc + Antemasque and be a pretty solid album. Interalia could have been way worse, given the circumstances.

Interalia sounded a lot like 90s Rush. it wasn't bad or anything it but it didn't feel likean ATDI album much at all
