Nice, I like the vibe that everything being mono gives the first song. How much of this is live instrumentation?

thank u. everythings recorded live all the way through in as few takes as possible

My newest release is an album Moot Points. A lot of it is existential or reflecting on the whimsical fantasy of every day life.

Really smooth switchups. There are some great hooks in it

I just uploaded this abridged version of my latest full-length album, 奇形と死色, which is about the horrors of the human body and the human mind. Something like that, anyway...

vlyrch.bandcamp.com/album/abridged
>avant-garde metal (in a nutshell)

At first I misread the song titles and thought you had a song called "teenage chair" and was intrigued, wondering what a teenage chair is like... but turns out it's not. Oh well. It sounds nostalgic, like something I'd have liked when I was 14. Not that I wouldn't like it now, but it doesn't really do anything for me except make me think about how cool it would be if you had super brutal deathcore breakdowns in your songs. Overall solid and very professionally mixed and mastered, so yeah, cool stuff.
Your albums are always really comfy, they have a legit old-timey vibe but also a unique atmosphere. If I asked you to collab one day in the future, would you consider it?
Your stuff sounds like if the Beatles were molested by Dogma (the Spanish band) when they were kids. I like it, and I'd definitely buy it if I would, but I won't. Anyway, it's really beautiful and well-made in every way.
Not my cup of tea, but it seems pretty comfy.

I respect that a ton. Our drummer is great about doing things in one whole take!
dm'd ya on SC.
nostalgic is a great word, it's a cover of an early 2000's song so we spun it a little but managed to keep that vibe in there.

of course im down to collab for anything

It's a good few months old, but I really like the question. The album is about breaking out of routines and monotony, and doing something different, in my case, starting a music project and seeing it to the end.

I'd love to hear any feedback or criticism. I actually use a lot of the feedback I see in these threads in future works.

I've heard this before! Loved it, too. You guys get that vibe of summer down extremely well, it's just a total joy to listen to. Huge nostalgia rush for early 2000s rock.

Love the influence and recording style. There's a sense of comfort to this album that I otherwise only get from old cassettes, so you knocked that out of the park.

The highlighted track has such a nice, sweet sound. Your vocals are excellent and there's tons of tiny details that add so much character to the backing.

Alright, I emailed you. Maybe it's a stupid idea for a collab, but eh... I think it could be interesting.

about my first year at uni, parties, losing control, everything gradually getting worse but kinda getting better again

> dream pop
> garage rock

really lovely synthwork, I feel like the vocals could come up a bit more, but the harmonies are really nice. 'it will all make sense one day' is also a really sweet mantra in the outro, giving the rest of the album a listen now

insane vocals, they sound genuinely inhuman, all round brutal stuff, the more droney ambient breaks add a lot too

Hey, thanks for the feedback! I'm loving this, too. I had my first year at Uni very recently, so I was able to relate to the whole vibe. There's some really cool rhythmic stuff throughout, especially like the pulse of the last track.

first album with a new guitar, enjoy

thick, deranged and perfectly adhering to the japanoise aesthetic, definitely worth listening to

couture pop is a fitting description, dreamy and lavish, I guess France never disappoints when it comes to experimental music

the wobble bass could've used a bit more distortion and been put slightly forward in the mix to give the song a sort of an oomph, also the bass guitar on top of the wobble sounds more strange than experimental to be honest, nonetheless the idea is there and the vocals are good, so hopefully this could be improved upon
