Based. Flawless statement. Can't argue against it. 100% correct.
Meh, for me it's Cowboys. Perfect in between stage of their earlier 80's selves and later more hard to the core stuff.
You are 100% correct, user. This disk is ferocious
flood is a great song
because of Floods mainly but yeah
Pantera is for rednecks and angsty teenagers
Not a huge fan, but both parts of Suicide Note are great
>DON'T YOU TRY TO DIE
>LIKE ME
>IT'S LIVID AND IT'S LIES

Ive always wondered what the deal with rednecks and Pantera was
WHAAAAAaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

YOU MUST ADMIT THAT YOU MIMIC THE WEAKLINGS
You sound brown
Saw them live in 2001 on the Extreme Steel tour, one of their last shows as a band. Morbid Angel played first, they were ok but the sound was low as fuck and I could hear people talking around me as they played and I was like maybe 4 people away from the stage right side in front of a wall of speakers. Skrape played next iirc, and they fucking sucked. Static X played and I didn't give a shit. Slayer played after them and they were good. Then Pantera played and blew every other band the fuck out. They played so fucking loud it was almost unbearable. They began the show with Hellbound and they had that big ass steel Pantera sign light up with flames and it felt like it was 1000 degrees and the audience lost their fucking minds. Still probably the best show I've been to. Lost my voice, ears literally rang for a week after. A few years later me and a buddy were talking about the show and he found a dude in Canada of all places with a bootleg of the Pantera and Slayer set and I can hear myself yelling though the quality is kinda shit. Here's a little snippet, at ):13 you can hear the crowd reacting to the flames

phils got some scathing lyrics on this, truly harsh shit that was so ahead of the trend they named the album after it.
