what tracks did you think were throwaway humbug? the only one i can think of is reggae maybe

maybe totally forgettable is a stretch, but most of the shorter songs before western. i didn't see much point in them. although the climactic ending of ducter and the western-bmbmbm run is fantastic, which feels way more memorable making me want to listen to that whole album again.

I like this band. I find it weird that rough trade signed them though. I see them as more of a sergeant house kind of deal.

I felt the same after one or two listens but it grew on me pretty quickly
