what does the 1990’s part signify?
Rolling Stones isn't bad but their albums aren't often consistent. They have incredible songs/singles though.
Chuck Berry is the fucking MAN
The albums from Aftermath through Exile are all pretty consistent, in my imo. Their S/T debut is also pretty good.
B&R
All of their albums have no bad songs until the albums that came out after goats head soup. Wtf are toy talking about lol. Why are zoomers so stupid. Why do they talk like they know things about things they know nothing about. Sheesh

This gif sucks and you suck for posting it
Have you ever heard about music you tasteless swine ?
Absolute edamame.
They don't suck, they're just painfully mediocre compared to their contemporaries
This year I turned 35 and The Stones finally clicked. AMA
are you a wizard
I disagree.
they have a few good songs. gimme shelter low key bangs
explain your experience please.
No but it's been a long time if I'm being honest
Check out this playlist for a nice assortment of styles open.spotify.com
Fair enough! I would suggest listening to "Angry Young Them" and The Pretty Things debut, they do a similar thing but in a more interesting way imo. Comparing Stones to Beatles is pretty retarded though, as it's apples and oranges when it comes to genre and style of music.
Meant for Well I'd always been a casual fan of the hits as well as Exile on Main Street, but this playlist I posted above, from a P4K feature a few months ago, showed me the variety of sounds and styles and stuff they employed throughout their career. I wrote them off post exile previously for no good reason. Turns out the 70s through early 80s are actually excellent, with Tattoo You, a collection of tracks that didn't make albums over the previous decades being my favorite.
Seeing as I became a Boomer fully this year, I do chalk some of it up to aging/physiological factors, I'm just in a more receptive place to it now, it really speaks to me.
Weird they clicked when I was 18. Where did it all go wrong for you?
I'd ask you not to be rude
I agree
Hits a little close to home?
