Has a really nice timeless feel and sound to it. I think you could tell three different people this was from the 90s, 00s, 10s, and they'd all believe you. That's an amazing quality for music to have. Also don't count yourself out so soon, if you're doing it for the music and not the hits, you'll get where you need to be.
>reposted cuz my dumbass pasted the link wrong
i appreciate the compliment! we have another album in the works using the money we made from the first one.

too spooky for me :( do you listen to swans?
oh, i thought i was being an anal-retentive jackass by pointing that out lol. I wouldn't call bedroom pop at all. Google says it's "Alternative/Indie". I guess that's more fitting than pop but hey, tags are light promo tools ig. Anyway, your music is fantastic and most ppl who checked you guys out prolly agree.
thanks man, i appreciate that. yeah i usually tell people "indie rock", but in the grand scheme of things, that doesn't mean a whole lot as far as genres go.
thanks for listening!!!
I made a love letter to No More Heroes.
My dream is to make music for video games.

RECs, I've taught these guys everything that's good about their music, they're my kids basically lol
Don't drypost bro...
Fix your URL, no one clicks on a "user____" address, change it to your artist name bro.
Here's a tip since you've been spinning your wheels in the mud:
-1st buy fl studio, its all you need at 1st
-2nd make a kick/snare rythem
-invite some producers over to hang out and get them to help get a melody / bassline idea
-3rd get some studio time,
4th, get some experienced producers to work with you durring your session(s)
5th let them do whatever they want to the song to make it good.
6th DONE! you have a new song you can upload online and start blowing up.
Post a picture next time, it helps us recognize who's posting.
Do your own research bro!! If you can't even be bothered to care about your own music how do you expect other people to? You think a top notch producer will be able to work with you if you can't articulate what it is you are trying to do? You think a label will sign you if when they're meeting with you about a possible record deal you just say "i dunno what i'm doing *fart sound*"
BLAH BLAH BLAHHHH
Hmmmm... Actual Ambient in a share thread?? Wow!
This is pretty soft lol You need to switch some stuff up little buddy. You need to Learn how to boost your bass. I can help you out quite a bit if you ask, but for now what you need to focus on is Making great bass patches. to make a beginner bass, get a defult patch in Harmor, turn the low-pass on A to 10% and 0% on B, and then turn the Sub up on both A and B, next turn on some slight distortion and then EQ the sub in the mixer up all the way.
ME
Bro, "lofi" isn't a safeword to avoid criticism on EQing and mastering. It's not just to clean up sound quality, EQ is to make space for all the elements to fit together. If multiple elements of a mix occupy similar frequency ranges and attempt to fit into the same space, the result will often sound muddy, and basically just a MESS, it doesn't sound "indie" or whatever you shmucks say its like.
Interesting. I like this surprisingly. The problem I have with 99% of "musicians" who sample other people's work is LONGG. The big thing is with these digital sound sampling devices, back in the day my sh!t was ANALOG bro, do you even know what analog means? Whatever, anyway these digital systems are, we are told, music mimics par excellence, able to render the whole orchestral panoply, plus all that grunts, or squeaks. The noun "sample" is, in our comodified culture,pre-fixed by the adjective free, FREE. as in STEALING. So now you're lying about being an artist and if one is to consider predicating this subject, perhaps some thinking aloud on what is not allowable auditory appropriation is to be heard.
Some of you, current and potential samplerists are confused, I KNOW you're confused, and it's about the extent to which you can legally borrow from the ingredients of other people's sonic manifestations. Is a musical property properly private, and when and how does one trespass upon it? Like myself, you may covet something similar to a particular chord played and recorded singularly well by the strings of the estimable Eastman Rochester Orchestra on a long-deleted Mercury Living Presence LP of Charles Ives' Symphony #3 and you're thinking "Oh no, welp here's another song down the DRAIN".
Not bad bro, REC
HAhahA you're still obsessed with lofi??
Fix your URL, "user_____" looks REALLY amateur.
Bro boost your bass come on bro.
Learn your genres bro, true Ambient can't have a beat bro..

Super crisp, very nice. The only thing I'd say negative is that the chorus lacks some oomph
This is neat
Sick beat, I'd work on the vocal delivery a bit more but cool stuff. Kind of as Non-Phixion vibe.
Wow so impressed by you buying plays etc HA!
Learn to post bro.....
Your beats are a big generic and I recognize the Samples. the sample sounds like it was recorded to a 15ips tape machine with a live band going straight through a console, and the drums are coming from a drum machine, synth, or stock DAW drum samples, chances are the context won’t make sense, you should always focus on that crispy sound quality bro.
In my mind I’m thinking “ok, what can I do to make these drums sound better, like they BUMP to the sample, but still stick out and hit hard?” Bro... Think about it like this, it might mean you have to be processing to the sample, or processing to the drums, or both. And generally needssome experimentation to make it BOOM in the speaker. And also mmatching the space is super key. This isn’t easy, it takes a really ADVANCED ear like mine. But if you can train yourself to listen to the ambience in the sample and recreate that ambience around the drums, but don't get confused. You follow? Next turn up the EQ low end (bass) and ta-da you're better.
I love hearing newbie musicians trying to sound like me, always feels like a big pat on my back! Keep up the good work bro, one day you'll be great like me I bet, you've hotsauced the good taste in music... get it? it's FIRE!!
ME
This is pretty good, overall, but bro heres a tip for getting your guitars to actually sound heavy:
Turn knobs marked "gain" or "overdrive" all the way up. Turn other volume knobs down to get the loudness you want. Once you've proved you can get heavy distortion, dial things back to find the tone you want. Focus on being LOUD!! Some amps won't distort at low volumes, mainly because that's dumb as all hell LOL. If yours is like this, either just play loud or give up.

who has time to write massive paragraphs about other people's production and eq?
