there's not a whole lot like it, most "deconstructed club" sounds pretty shite compared to it. check out his EP and some of the tracks he uploaded on soundcloud

false. Flume's new mixtape and SOPHIE are both flames.

yeah someone who describes records as "flames" would think that.

SD is really one of a kind. No one else seems to be ballsy (or lazy) enough to release anything with production as raw as that's harakiri.

>weird frontier music
I thought this meme music died in 2016 back when Arca was still male....

go thru the tri angle and halcyon veil back catalogs, maybe theres something for u. rabit comes kinda close to this album imo but theyre never as brittle and industrial

and yet they sound nothing like laika, and i've yet to find a producer that compares in terms of style
also...
>flume
c'mon son. it was alright but there are literally a thousand working producers better than flume
yea i'm pretty familiar with all his stuff.
i'll up the ante and post even more exclusive sd laika: dbr(dot)ee/Mem5
lotta wild shit in here. this link is from a few months back don't know what's up with the security warning lol. can re-up separately if you want
can't say anything about his tunes comes off as lazy to me
arca and sd laika are still killing it.
what electronic music do you like?

I'm just saying that for someone to sound like SD they'd either need to be ballsy or lazy enough to just leave things rough and unfinished state to get the same "raw" effect that SD tracks have. It sounds like he's just smashing samples together, but in a good way.

seconding rabit

Tropical Interface-OM1

omg based, tropical interface is one of the best kept secrets in dance music rn

Biohazard is nuts and is 100% scratching the SD itch

the genre for this record is listed as "grime/FWD"
it was kind of unclear to me what this meant when i looked it up last time. could somebody elaborate a bit?

it uses a lot of grime instrumentation and structure
