I can't believe it's been one year since he was so violently and senselessly taken from us.
He was such a huge inspiration to millions of kids. He didn't deserve to die. He was slandered so much in life that when he died no one wanted to see the legend he was. And why was he taken? I had just returned from the Alexis Nihon Mall. I checked Twitter and noticed #RIPX was trending. I assumed it was just another publicity stunt of X's for a new video or some shit, similar to when he hanged himself on IG Live. I saw X's name was trending with 2.6 million tweets so I clicked it. The first article which appeared was "XXXTENTACION SHOT AND KILLED IN FLORIDA". I was shocked, just because his death was so unexpected. The first tweet was from SoundCloud, memorializing him.
