I'm not a big fan of Trance music, but I thought this track was pretty good at atmosphere building. I'm a fan of the cheesy whispered vocals trend of the 90's, so I liked that too. With 5 being an average, I'd give Cosmic love a 6/10

I do not know the French language and I do not know Quebec culture, but I can certainly imagine the fine folks getting getting down and enjoying themselves with this music.

Fiddles, harmonicas, and accordians abound (and mouth harps!?), while every song has a quick tempo and plenty of call and response, allowing revelers to have a grand time tripping over their slurred words and stuttered dance steps until well into the morning.

It's a classic sound of 4/4 folk dance songs. When syncopation does exist, it is usually simple eighth notes on every up-beat.

Modern dance musicians working at their DAWs could look to the vocalists leading the crowd for inspiration, but would likely be bored by the lack of "drops" and other common methods of progressing songs that we are more used to hearing from dance tracks today.
