I agree. Her music is not the most technical or impressive composition-wise, but she's an outstanding sonic artist, her production is interesting and her music is drenched with feeling. Her music has lots of quirky nuances that you notice when you pay attention to it. Also, Alien Observer is one of the best albums of this decade
