This album is only remembered cause he died soon after
only a guy as bombastic as bowie would think to use his own death as a marketing trick / as weight behind a release

Gett em upppp

there is a reason why icky mettle is forgotten

Dr octagon

There actually is a reason just not the reason you're implying.

It's because the lyrics are firmly anti-poptimism and anti-selling out, as well as pro-masculine and misogynistic.
Pretty much the antithesis of anything in indie post mid 00s.

pitchfork.com/features/lists-and-guides/7710-the-top-200-albums-of-the-2000s-20-1/

go LOAF

it's better than the ecstatic, mind you

shut it

Damn, it's more than half I think

its good though. I don't think it was marketing, i think he just wanted to make one more album. He started planning the recording as soon as he got the diagnosis iirc

This album was all over Yea Forums for a couple days, now almost nothing. Got good reviews too

art hoes who jerk off to jazz influences in hip hop still jerk off to this so idk

new one is even better tho

No one cares about flylo in general anymore.

god what a classic
one of the few times i agree with scaruffi (pressure is also an amazing album)

Get em. Get em, Go!

what album is this

nevermind im retarded

Artists do that all the time. Johnny Cash's American Recordings Series is pretty much entirely based on the idea of an older artist close to death making as much music as he can before it happens.

I still listen to this a lot. Angels & Devils is p good too

Wanda Jackson and Bobby Womack as well.
