please be true

Who is that?

Piero Scaruffi was essentially a clout martyr.

Everyone is claiming this was a random robbery, but it's clear what was actually happening: his killers were driven to take his life solely for the sake of clout. They wanted infamy of their own and found it in gunning down a 75-year old.

As Piero was taking his final breath, he was surrounded by kids taking video and pictures of him. Why? For clout. No one was taking his pulse, no one was calling 911, everyone was standing around with their phones out as his body was clinging to life.

The moral lesson of Scaruffi's life story should be a cautionary tale of the horrors of social media and how it's fucked our society beyond belief.

RIP Scruff. See you in Heaven...

You just don't know what "journalism" is

motherfucker, have you seen music journalism nowadays? to say it's on its last leg would be over-exaggerating

but that doesn't mean YOU know what it is. I mean the literal definition

OP pic looks like Scaruffi doing Jepsen's Run Away With Me video

Can someone shop him holding up some Mentos please?

if only

"These are trivial "reviews" that any amateur could make, except that most amateurs would be ashamed to release them.

Scaruffi died of cancer in june 2019."

Would be a great loss. A critic that reviews as hobby and not as his life line is the only critic that really has a shot at being impartial. Critics that review for a living? Unreliable

kek

Can't say that about classical, jazz, films or history events but I've never found a better critic of Rock music than Scaruffi

man, you gave me a heart attack, good thing both dates are wrong

This. Scaruffi knows his shit.
