ali hassan kuban was a musician from egypt specifically nubia. he is famous for combine traditional nubian music with jazz

not sure where you are getting that from what i said. cukor bila smert is more proggy than her solo stuff but is also more poppy than can. her solo stuff still uses unconventional rhythms and scales. prog isnt its defining form but it is an experimental form that takes influence from eastern european classical and folk musics as well as other 20th century clasccal such as minimalism and definitely has some proggy dagmar krause-esque influence. very atmospheric.

As someone who's top 5 includes 2 relatively obscure albums (including pic related), one semi popular album that is basically never discussed on Yea Forums and 2 albums that are surely Yea Forums with my favourite album being ITAOTS:
