This actually presents an interesting quality that may affect 2010s artists differently than those that came before - namely, in the post-internet age you had lots of niche artists, since music now mainly appeals to niches. Kitty Pryde was the definition of a niche artist - she was an appealing and charismatic, but not particularly talented or prolific. She was a notable artist for what was colloquially known as "meme rap," the music that really set the stage for modern genres like "soundcloud rap," cloud rap, and modern trap - Odd Future, Kreayshawn, Rejjie Snow, The Underachievers, Danny Brown, etc. Kitty Pryde will be barely remembered as a footnote of that scene to the indie types actually following it, and no one else will have any recollection she existed. In fact, Of those people the only ones I'm confident will remain in the collective memory are Danny Brown and Odd Future affiliates Tyler, the Creator and Earl Sweatshirt.

Remove the emotions associated wit them. Once they mean nothing to you on an emotional level, they will subconsciously not be worth preserving, and then they will fade quickly from your mind.

I think you're forgetting ASAP mob and TDE. Those two groups were instrumental to the scene. But yeah other than those and Beast coast and what you said, none of the others will be well remembered.
