Based. The hippie movement and associated music was also a psyops.
for reference, here is NWA before they got influenced by outside sources:
NWA wasn't influenced at all but they were ripped off by that jew Jerry Heller. The "secret rap meeting" is hilarious.
I've heard this and know it had something to do with the distribution of LSD, but don't know much. Care to elaborate?
Im sure youve heard of MK Ultra etc.
Lsd experiments by shady groups were dime a dozen. One of place that saw a ton of Lsd distribution was laurel canyon. Aka the birthplace of hippie counterculture and artists/groups such as Zappa, the Byrds, Jim Morrison, Stills Crosby Nash etc. Vito Paulekas was the originator of hippie culture and headed the freak movement. The same freaks you hear mentioned in Zappas music. Another curiosity is if you do some deep digging, many of the musicians involved in this culture were of military/government intelligence backgrounds; famously including Zappa.
Why this happened? This is speculation but first as not so controlled opposition. The hippies with their degenerate ways would certainly discredit any legitimate anti Vietnam protestors. I do think the movement blew out of the governments control eventually however.
The second as I mentioned, many of the musicians had strong connections. They were literally planted for musical success in what must of been a highly successful experiment to replicate British successes and create mass marketable music with cutting edge music production technology.
The music itself isnt particularly anti war when you really pay attention to it.
We can see this same shit repeating itself like clockwork with dumb sjw propganda and the absolute shit state of the mainstream music industry nowdays.
And may I add how badly the Us wants to destroy Venezuela and Iran now; just like they wanted to with north Vietnam all the way back then?
Interesting. Makes sense I suppose, also probably why 60's music often gives me a creep feeling of something unnatural. Seems to also be the start of major occult groups becoming tied to music stars and witchcraft and all that being promoted by artists.
>60's music often gives me a creep feeling of something unnatural
Does exactly the same to me user. Never liked 60s non jazz music much. Even Zappa's music. In fact, especially Zappa's music after he's implied he prefers to be sober and actually despises the hippie counterculture he was involved in. Considering his fathers naval intelligence background, Zappa reeks of mastermind ringleader and its just scary to think about.
Witchcraft and satanic shit was also big, yes. Its fucking creepy. I hope 60s British music and 70s music dont have similarily shady backgrounds.
The Beatles were most definitely involved in some shady music business stuff, at the very least occult Satanism groups, who have links to the government.
>I hope 60s British music and 70s music dont have similarily shady backgrounds
Isn't that the pedo guy?
yes and he's with jimmy, john, george and ringo
They must have been doing some fucked up shit
Jekked in the train son, fuck you.
Guess theres alot more behind why Lennon got shot in broad public view than we know.
great sources op
Just something for the ignorant people to think about. Those who don't do their own research can't be helped anyway.
would it make sense nowadays for any government to experiment on the masses throught music ? Every genre becomes several sub-genres very quickly, kinda like what Bowie predicted in one of his interviews. Things blossom and go out of fashion so quickly it would be impossible to draw any conclusion with those experimental timelines. Hell nowadays we've got entire genres based on post ironic aesthetics that are already considered boomercore.
Most of the masses only like music that's fed to them, now more than ever before in history are their fewer choices for the "average person", why do you think Billie Eyelish got so popular so fast with such mediocre product? Even when MTV was around and played music, it gave people options, now people have to actively search out their music which most people don't do, and what's shoved in front of their faces is extremely limited. In theory the modern age should be great for discovery of different music, but the truth is only a small portion of people actually go out of their way to do so, most just consume what's presented to them by the media, and the media is moving more and more toward an extremely limited selection of artists that they are willing to promote. There were more options back in the day in that regard because they could make money off wildcards, now they can't make much money, so they focus on small groups of artists they control one hundred percent rather than taking chances on some unknowns who might fit a trend.
Most likely
